Thank you so much to all the staff at Cafe Paris for making my Mum feel super special today for he birthday lunch to celebrate her 92nd birthday. The pancakes were delicious as usual. Loved my lentil soup.

My favourite cafe in Howick Village. Excellent hearty meals always served with choices of fresh salad, roast veggies etc. If you are in Howick make sure you try it - their coffees are great too!

This cafe is a bit far from my home but I still prefer to visit. The staff there provide warm service. The barista always has smile on his face. The new york cheese cake is yummy. I highly recommend it.

We've only had afternoon tea here, but what we had was lovely. The feijoa smoothie was really yummy and the muffins were great. Great place, with a nice atmosphere, although a little small and cramped.
Always liked the vibe of this place, often quite busy during lunch times. Food is average, but big servings and low prices keeps me coming back. Very friendly staff, and waiting time isn't long for how busy the place is at times.
I recommend the lasagna, and the pot pies.
A nice small cafe with a full of unique items on the walls and classic design of chairs to sit, the cheesecake with a blueberry sauce was marvelous !!
Came here with mum recently. It is a nice little boutique cafe with a wide variety of options available. It has a lot of nice decorations but their food was not exactly "French".
None the less we tried their Big Breakfast and Pot Pie of the Day. They were both absolutely delicious and worth the money. It's a little gem on Picton that everyone should try.

I heared from people that this is nice little cafe. And yes it is nice. I want with my family to give a go here. They were not busy. Cafe is very small but nicely decorated inside with lighting. I order some food and coffee.food was ok but coffee was not good at all. It's taste bitter. Food wasn't too good but meet the taste. I expected a nice cup of coffee but I couldn't drink after first sip as it taste too bittter . Service was average. I will try to come again but not too desperate.

I came here with my family for weekend breakfast. We tried the lasagne, chicken pasta, omelette and eggs on toast. The food was delicious and their service was quick and super friendly. The owner of this place is really nice and makes sure that everyone is comfortable. I didn't like the portobello mushroom though and bacon was a little salty for me, but it depends on your taste. :)
This cafe is always so crowded and isn't quite spacious. They definitely need to expand, but overall it was a nice experience. :)

My pancakes were soft and fluffy, cooked with lots of mixed berries. My friend also enjoyed her bacon banana pancakes served with maple syrup. Huge serving size for only $10!
Chocolate milkshake was really flavorful too.
All in all good food, good price, good people, and fantastic environment. I can't really fault this place :)
I used to come here all the time about 10 years ago but now only visit Howick Town Centre every few weeks. This is a popular spot with locals and several times of late I have not gone in as it was too busy. This morning there were plenty of tables free so we went in. Staff are friendly and quick to clear tables.
We ordered a milkshake and a latte, both were very good. My daughter had two sausage rolls which were only $1.50 each and well cooked. I got the raspberry, coconut & white chocolate slice which was freshly baked.
What appeals at this cafe is the eclectic collection of chairs and tables the vintage ornaments and the variety of framed prints. Lots to feast the eye on, even the light fittings have charm.

Cafe Paris is a busy cafe up the top end as you drive into Howick from Pakuranga. It has some great artwork on the walls & other trinkets to look at. Chairs & tables are mis-matched, and crockery too but this just adds to its charm. A lovely space.
I have been here many times for a light lunch - my faves being the pot pie of the day & the quiche. They are made each day & have a real homemade taste to them. Overall their cabinet food is very like this too so its a great option to order from - not just the menu.
Coffee is always well made, not bitter.
Today we stopped in for morning tea & enjoyed another fave their blueberry muffins. I'm not necessarily a muffin lover but these really are the best I've tried - not sure of their recipe but it's always light & fluffy on the inside (almost like a sponge cake) and a slightly crispy outside. Nice when served warm.
Will definitely be back again. Be prepared to wait for a table if you visit - particularly on the weekend when the markets are on. They do manage this well though with great service & staff who welcome you in & get you seated.
In search of pancakes, we ended up visiting cafe Paris after brunch. We ordered the mixed berry pancake and were pleased with the dish - Though, you can't really fault pancakes w berries & creme :p

I love the interiors of this place. It is quirky and full or character. Value for money is also good (pancakes is a must try!) I wish they were opened on Sunday's. I go to Howick just for this place
I love spending my weekends in a comfy and homely cafe. Cafe Paris is delightful in its aesthetics of pastry wonders and is a great spot for those lovely weekend coffees.
Surprising I've found the coffee out east to be consistently better than other parts of Auckland.
The decor for me was a little hit and miss, they had some interesting pieces mixed with some random pieces which took away that clean cut look most cafes have.
We ordered a chicken and Moroccan lamb pot pies with salad and pasta on the side. Nothing fancy about the pasta, the salad had a neat dressing however the pot pie curry was divine. The meat taste with curry made each bite a pleasant and eager experience. Only disappointing thing were the portions.
Showstopper: The pot pies. Excellent spot for one of those lazy weekends.

Cafe Paris is in my opinion the best cafe in Howick.
The service is excellent with attentive staff who set a joyful and calm atmosphere. They are very attentive and efficient. The decor is slightly bordering on the horder side; but is quirky with the collection of artwork, clocks, plates, different chairs.etc
Every time I've eaten here the quality of the food has been exceptional, the food looks gorgeous and tasted even better. They have a great balance of freshness and flavours.
The food here is reasonably priced with large portions.
Visited for the first time for the first time this morning despite having lived in the area for over a decade. The staff are friendly, the place is very cute and refreshing with all the trinkets, art, and decor from Europe. I was very keen to try Cafe Paris, as it's always full and I have heard odes about their chicken pot pies, so it became an obvious choice for a meal.
Dined with my family, ordered a few meals. The prices are very decent, and, as the food is all cooked on premises, tastes home-cooked. The coffee tasted a bit burnt, but otherwise, Cafe Paris makes for a very enjoyable meal. It's a very pleasant, home-y experience.
Oh god I Just love this place. Such a new atmosphere and full of beautiful vintage decorations!! The food is nice and have a large range, cheaper compared to other cafes. Not sure about coffee but I do like their iced tea. I had egg benedicts it was nice but didn't like the idea of putting ham, rather prefer bacon or salmon. The pasta though, was rather tasty. The jam on the waffles were too sour and just felt like old canned jam. Don't recommend it. But overall I really liked it and will definitely return!
I went to this cute little cafe for brunch with a friend today for the first time. The prices for this cafe is much cheaper than other cafes. We ordered an eggs benedict and pancakes. The food was really good. I find that the menu lack a bit of variety but otherwise it was a great little place to catch up.
Had Anzac day breakfast here. Cute little place. Very polite staff. Decent food. Quick service. Egg benny with salmon could do with a bit more salmon. With avo n hollandaise sauce. You can barely taste the salmon. Gooood coffee though. Nice roast.

Staff are friendly, very locally bonded vibe. It has a good range of cabinet food e.g. pot pies and baked ceramic dishes.
Nevertheless, you can finish off with over 10 options of cake and sweet slice.

Superb little cafe. Great food (at very reasonable prices), and their cabinet treats are amazing (their cakes are to die for). Coffee is delish, can get a bowl for a very reasonable price, which you can't say for many cafes these days.
Very popular with the locals, can be a bit busy, especially on Saturdays - if you're looking for an intimate Saturday brunch spot this isn't the place, but if you like the festive hustle and bustle of Howick village on a Saturday morning and love eggs (scrambled highly recommended) at great prices, then this place is perfect. Well fitted with couches, and indoor and outdoor seating so you can take your pick.
Overall very highly recommended, best local cafe, I will be going again and again and again.

This is definitely the best café in all of East Auckland. Sanjay and Mika are so warm and friendly. The baking is high quality and it's nearly impossible to make your mind up what to have as there is such a wonderful selection. Coffee and drinks menu is great.
This is such a special place and makes Howick a great village to visit and shop. Quirky decor, and worth waiting to get a table, no matter how small! Food so very tasty and the cakes are lovely, sometimes amazing Italian desserts. Very good value meals, including complimentary roast root veg, pasta and salad with most dishes and very welcoming atmosphere. Staff and chef Sanjay and his clever pastry cook wife make everyone feel at home here
The food is really great and the coffee is satisfying - but there is rarely anywhere to sit on a Saturday - don't even think about trying to read a newspaper!
Got recommended by a friend to try this place out. Bought a Apple & Feijoa Smoothie and really loved it. The place was quite packed but it wasn't crowded. Good service and nice atmosphere. Will certainly visit again!

Small shop which can get too busy at peak time, and there is no through-breeze so it can get uncomfortably hot, however food is always nice and fresh, coffees are consistently excellent.. Sanjay and his team are always attentive and graciously stay open a little later if we are still there past 530.. highly recommended!

Interior is perfection, so cozy and stylish. Had singaporean laksa and eggs benedict with salmon. Well, we might chose the wrong food though as this place is a cafe, laksa was okayish, we prefer that of pappa rich. The eggs bene is lovely, if you wanted a creamy breakfast treat, go order this one! Maybe not too much Hollaindaise as it overpowers the whole meal. I love the details on the cafe, staff are friendly too. Will come back to try their coffee next time.coz yeah, this is a café after all. 😊
Nice table out on the street watching the comings and goings in howick village, inside looked nice with plenty to look at on the walls, had a good vibe. Chose from the cabinet as the range was good with a specialty in individual bakes and pot pies, chose the Moroccan lamb pot pie and a bean baked cheesecake. I asked if the pot pie came with salad and they said it did, was expecting something simple but they gave me a good spoonful of the 3 salads they had, a lemon macaroni which was absolutely delicious and a highlight, and cos lettuce with light vinaigrette and roast vege salad, both good, the pot pie flavor was rich and delicious plenty of filling and not too much sauce, the perfect ratio. The cheesecake was light and not too sweet and blended perfectly with the berry compote, best cheesecake I've had in quite a while. Coffee was above average. Very good price too. Very highly recommended.

Went to lunch with a friend and we found this small cafe in the middle of Howick. It is pretty small and I would guess there would be 12 small tables inside. I really rate this eatery for it's food and service. My main was $16.50 and I couldn't finish it. Had our food within 10mins along with our coffees. Small but eloquent. A must for lunch. Great selection.
Best kept secret in Howick, the food is as impressive as the fit-out with dishes almost (almost) too pretty to eat. The relaxed Parisian vibes will magically transport you to Europe. Really enjoy the time spent here during the weekend

Wow this place is amazing!! I had an order for 17 takeaway coffees and the barista did an awesome job. He was so quick, the coffees were all hot, delicious and he did it all with a smile and great attitude. If I lived in Auckland I would definitely go to this Cafe more often. I was really impressed!!
