Pretty happy with my visits to The Parlour! Owners and staff are lovely. Teriyaki chicken salad fresh and soo good! Orange and date scones were delicious. Friend had poached eggs and it looked 👌 I found their iced coffee better than their lattes.
Cute cafe with quirky decor.
Food is lovely.
Eggs Benedict comes with a generous amount of smoked salmon. Mango smoothie is served in a mason jar and has a sweet mango flavour. I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. Eggs were poached perfectly. Runny on the inside but not too runny that it seemed like raw yolks lol.
I'm in two minds about telling you how good this place is as if you all go then I might not get a table. If quality and taste are what you enjoy then check this place out. The two owners, husband and wife, are from 5-star hotel backgrounds and it shows, in the food, the service and the attention to detail. All the food is cooked in-house and there's nothing that isn't as good as it gets. It's small and intimate and tucked away at the end of Howick shops so it's easy to miss but it's easily one of the best in Auckland. During winter you've got to check out the Leek and Potato or the Mushroom soups. They've hooked me for sure.
I have ordered Minced with toast. Taste is good. Sausage roll is my favourite and can finished it without hesitation. Order the cappuccino n the taste is good too.
Lovely small cafe on the main street. The coffee is excellent and the cakes were scrumptious. The decor is modern eclectic. Busy without being too noisy and staff clear the tables promptly. Will definitely be visiting again.
Great Cafe. Very welcoming host and staff. Food and coffee were fantastic and the atmosphere here is refreshing.
Gets all day sun and has great seating outside.
Top cafe in east auckland :)
I've always thought The Parlour was gorgeous ever since it opened some time ago, although I've never had the chance to go until recently. It's a gorgeous little place, always with someone inside, very clean and neat with the cute homeliness of the odd mismatched piece, making it a fun and relaxing dining experience for any occasion.
The staff are so friendly. They greet you with a smile, and, completely unprecedented, arranged a table for my family when we were at the counter to order when they realised there were no arrangements for the number of our group. The menu selection is pretty standard. Their cabinet items all look gorgeous, and the ones I have tried have been really tasty thus far, and the presentation of every dish I've ordered so far have been incredibly colourful and picture-perfect. Perfect, I will also add, describes their poached eggs.
Amazing place to go to eat. Great location, great atmosphere. A new cafe favourite.
I was recommended this cafe by a friend who took me to check this place out. This cute, little cafe served nice coffee and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is definitely one of my favourite cafes in Howick.
Have walked past this place every Saturday morning to go to our local café after the market.  We decided to try this out for a change as it's always seems busy. Well, we weren't disappointed. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Coffee was great. Food was superb. The vegetarian stack was delicious and top marks for presentation. With so much choice of cafe's in Howick this is a winner for me.
This is such a cute little cafe in Howick. I got the teriyaki chicken salad and I thought it was delicious. It was a decent portion as well :)
Called into the Parlour a few Saturdays ago - OMG we were made to feel so welcome the Husband & Wife team are awesome and so is the food. I had the Hashbrown Stack & Partner had the Salmon Cakes, beautifully presented and flavours were to die for. Â Very decent portion sizes too (had to take a walk afterwards).Â
Would highly recommend.
Great food and coffee. My new favourite cafe in Howick... I had the big breakfast and my son had the hash stack. Eggs were perfectly poached. Good quality ingredients, nicely prepared and presented. Wide selection of juices as well. Decor is pleasant.
Awesome experience with our maiden visit for brunch. Great customer service. Food was delish. We had one egg bene with smoked salmon & another with roasted mushrooms, and the bacon buttie. And the coffee was yum too. Thanks guys.
Lovely little cafe, serving delicious eggs Benedict and lemongrass tea. Good atmosphere with really pleasant staff. Quality food at an affordable price.
Delicious and fresh food. The coffee is great too. Right in the heart of howick. Cafe has a nice vibe
Not bad. Mango smoothie is yum. Had salmon hash, poached eggs could be more runny, but other wise its nice.
very friendly staff and nice coffee. Food is ok.
The food was yummy. Coffee alright .
Price average.
Great food and coffee with great service. Would highly recommend.
Great food, nice staff, pleasant relaxing atmosphere.
Popped in for lunch, I had the egg bene with bacon, my wife had the french toast, both were perfectly cooked and tasty, couldn't fault the servings and the staff were attentive and helpful. The coffee was great too, and served piping hot, not lukewarm like in some cafe's. I would happily return to sample some of the other offerings on the menu
I got coffee here twice during my New Zealand trip. Both times it was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
