It’s always been a great experience dining at Tandoori. Have been there a number of times. Service is excellent and personal. Food is great and always consistent.
Since we live in the area, have also ordered food from the Restaurant and delivery has been prompt and excellent.

Order from here often, the only place around the area that delivers rural. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to, & definitely best in the area. Staff are always polite & friendly.
New favourite Local Indian. My Partner and I get our fix of indian from here once a month. Great flavours, and quick delivery available. Would recommend this to others. The Tikka Masala has a great flavour and a thick sauce.
Favourite Indian place and I’m glad I’m now a local as they deliver too which is great.
Their korma is always good and the Saagwala is good too.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been too. We went in tonight with my four kids, wife and in-laws for dinner to celebrate my mother in-laws birthday. 🎉🎂The service was great and food was excellent for a reasonable price. The Butter chicken was to die for😋... The restaurant has an awesome variety of Indian cuisines and even food catered for kids. The place is family friendly and very welcoming😃😃... This was an amazing experience for my family and would recommend people to try this amazing Indian restaurant. We will definitely try this place again😃😃... Tandoori - The best Indian restaurant in town, hands down!! If you haven’t tried the dish named MEEN at Tadoori you haven’t had the tastiest grilled fish yet. My wife and I went to Tandoori for our 12th anniversary, we felt very welcomed, the food was great, the service was excellent and the manager knew his whiskey collection, his passion for whiskey made me try a Japanese whiskey- LOVED IT!! Had a great time overall. We will go there again and I will recommend this lovely restaurant in the heart of Kumeu to others!
Best value in town by a country mile. The service was great, friendly but not over the top. Even the chef was happy to come out and serve us.The food was delicious and the wine reasonably priced. Accommodated us outside with our two scruffy dogs after a walk on the beach and brought them water to keep them happy. Rustic goat curry to die for, and you should try the calamari. I prefer the naan my wife prefered the roti so cant win. Looks like next time I can bring my vegetarian daughter as there is lots to suit her on the menu too. ps DONT TELL ANYONE
Well it's my Birthday weekend, thought to end it with a craving of Indian Cuisine. Tandoori Bar and Eatery was 15mins drive away. I called them and a lovely Gentleman answered, took my order; yes I even had to try their Butter chicken which I must say was so delicious and creamy. However they offered to deliver all the food. I think I'll take my family and friends here more often. He even offered to make a special menu for my vegetarian grandmother. A mission to please with kindness and amazing food I'm craving more from these guys.

Excellent food. Real Indian flavours come through in all the dishes. We had the Sizzlling platter. Great variety and very generous portions. For mains we order a butter chicken and beef korma. Both were very creamy and delicious..

We found this little gem of a restaurant purely by chance having been to our dentist (Alex) next door who by the way is also just the best. We have now been about 6-8 times over he last 3-4 months. The food is superb, some of the best since I was living in London 20 years ago. My fiancee Rachel particularly likes there Butter Chicken as they don't use sugar. I am a big fan of hot and spicy and they consistently do a great job getting the balance perfect. We live in Hobsonville Point but we do make the extra effort to visit Sunny, Ash and Sachin as they are just fantastic hosts. Well worth the travel to enjoy some very fine food and served with such great passion and pride. See you again soon. Gary & Rachel

My family and I went there last night and we enjoyed it so much! We all loved the atmosphere of the place and the friendly staff. The meals that they cooked us were amazing! They gave us so much food and we kept on eating after we were extremely full. Tandoori is an amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it for anyone out there looking for a restaurant to eat at.
I took my dear old Dad (93) here recently and it was touching how well the owner looked after him. Couldn't do enough for him. Dad loved his Fijian Indian goat curry and he got extra gravy, just the way he likes. Massive upgrade from when this place was Masala. Will go back for sure.

Excellent Indian food and has become our favourite. New owners are very welcoming. We have been weekly since they opened and have had a great meal every time. Chicken Tikka is delicious. Their stuffed Naan bread is very good. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Tandoori Kumeu has THE BEST curries within a hundred miles of here - HANDS DOWN. The couple who own and manage this restaurant are lovely and well-known within the community. There's enough space inside for busy nights and the customer service is great as the team is interactive with their customers and don't mind a good chat. 5 stars all round.

I tried out Tandoori tonight, and man, it was amazing! This place has got it all - delicious Indian food, great service, and a cozy vibe. Their butter chicken and cheesy garlic naan was amazing which is always how I compare Indian restaurants! The flavors were on point, and the spices were just perfect. Plus, Tandoori is BYO, which is a huge win in my book. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing restaurant. A gem tucked away in the northwest of Auckland. We ordered several things on the menu and every bit of it was delicious and we will definitely be going back again and again to try everything else! Especially recommend the paan ice cream at the end, a creative, delicious and unique way to finish the meal!
