Stopped by here for a friends birthday party. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. There is also a food truck in the carpark where you can grab something to eat if you're hungry.
The inside area is very large with plenty of seating around, although it could get hard for larger groups since their tables aren't very large. We did manage to squeeze about 12 people on a table though.
The tap 40 on the wall shows you what they're currently serving. Take note of either the name or the number to order. When you're ready just head over to the counter to order. They also do wines and non-alcoholic drinks.
Puha and Pakeha were the food truck that was there. After ordering you get a buzzer and wait to pick up your food. The tuatua fritters were amazing. Tasty and delicious. I found the kumara bites to be too smokey for my liking. The loaded fries was a bit of a let down, particularly with the pork tasting mostly of water.
It is a nice place to have a few drinks but it is quite far from where I live.
Have been regular visitor at their Northcote branch. Got excited when they opened in huapai closer to home. Now I don't have to worry about drinking and finding a tea tottler ;). Live you guys. My fav in Auckland.
Always a great spot to drop into to try one of the 30 odd beers they have on selection (with the monthly rotating food trucks).

A delightful casual craft beer bar, with around 40 beers on tap and a modest selection of great NZ wines.
They have a different food truck every week at all 6 of their locations.

Awesome beer bar with a huge range of options on tap. Beers, ciders, mead, non alcoholic from all over New Zealand. You can't go wrong with a stop in at The Beer Spot. Different food options depending on which food truck is parked on site. Recommend it as a must stop if you a passing through.
Excellent selection of beer! Nice staff who are knowledgeable about their beers and can provide their recommendations based on what type of beer you like. I got their recommendation and they gave me a mini schooner glass with a little bit to try and it was spot on first try! Definitely will come back again!
A really great place to enjoy a drink after work. Service is fabulous. They have wine of the week and these are all displayed on a board inside. Very cool.....They have a food truck out the back where you can order food and eat it in the Pub. Fabulous idea. When we went it was the Sculpterum and the lamb kebabs and chips were AMAZING. A nice place that too could easily call your "local"
Awesome selection of beers and other drinks and highly recommend. Sometimes the food trucks can be a little hit and miss with their selection, however best to check online first as to who is parked up.

This place is brilliant!
I love the fact that theh have tasting platters of beer. I told the barman what I like, and he made some great selections. The tastes were smooth, and some unexpected. The oatmeal cookie was my favourite.
There is a food cart in the carpark, which changes every week.
The Beer Spot is for everyone that likes beer and wine, exceptional craft beers, usually local and of course magnificent NZ wines. So much choice on tap and you are welcome to taste everything before settling on a favorite. Very well setup, plenty to do or just listen to music, some days it's live. Food is by food truck with amazing variety. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.
Great place to relax and have a drink. The food trucks add a nice touch. I love that you can take the dogs. I recommend a visit or two.
Great place to hang out if you aporeciate good beer. Huge selection on offer with clean and tidy surroundings and friendly bar staff. Nice touch with a food truck on site too with varying menues depending on who is catering. Very family friendly 👍
