Our extended family tried out this new Indian place in Huapai last Thursday. I'm from the UK and up til now I haven't really felt that there's an Indian place in Kumeu and Huapai that does Indian takeaway in the style of the best British curry houses. It feels honestly like the kiwi market often goes for a sweeter and less piquant gravy than what i like
I was really happy with Bombay Kitchen. We ordered pretty broadly from the menu, and every dish was both delicious and unique.
We ordered - starters:
Veg mix platter
Chicken Lollipop
Prawn Koliwada
mains
mango chicken, v mild - for the kids
Bombay kitchen special - bone in chicken tandoori in gravy - very tasty
Lamb Kadai
Aloo palak, very tasty spinach and potato
chole bhatura, fried naan with chick pea masala. nice variation on naan bread (has chick pea sauce for dipping)
Overall, this is now my preferred Indian place in the area as the sauces were really rich like i like them. I feel it does offer something new and different in their dishes

I recently had a wonderful takeaway experience at Bomday Kitchen in Kumeu. The menu offered a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with delightful flavors and expertly prepared. We tried Bombay Kitchen for takeaways, they did not disappoint. The food and service was lovely 😊 we had a range of curries and the lollipop chicken which is now a favourite of ours!

Really good indian option in Kumeu. The taste is good, service fast and courteous and the portions very decent sized. Price wise also very good.
Planning to make it our go to place for every other lazy nights.

We absolutely love this place, as good a pizza as you’ll get anywhere, crust perfectly crispy / chewy in all the right ways and simple, delicious toppings. Also had the penne alla arrabiata and it was great, perfect amount of kick! And yes we did do Eddie Izard Death Star canteen impressions as we ate that 😂 Hawaiian, calabrese and Roma (?) pizzas in pics 🍕

So happy they have opened a store here as we use to drive 45 minutes to the nearest store. Excellent customer service, happy with our food . Have been twice in one week that's how good it is ! Highly recommend

Yummy, fresh, fast, tasty. We were hungry and travelling through Kumeu on state highway 16, from Whangarei to Auckland. This is the by far the best place to stop in, if you’re after delicious food on your travels. Authentic and delicious fresh Italian pizza, from a genuine friendly and hearty Italian host. Quick service too! This will be our new regular on the way through.
The best pizza I have ever had in NZ. I had the Queen Margharita and it delicious and authentic, just like pizza in Italy. The Buffalo mozzarella, yummy, sauce, full of flavor, pizza base crispy and cooked to perfection. This is definitely going to become our go to for pizza from now on. Can't wait to try the pastas next.

What can I say. They are awesome. Their pizzas are delicious and hot when you get them (it's your fault if they are cold by the time you get home heated seats on in the car and a blanket baby!). You can taste the authentic Italian in every bite the fresh herbs wow! eating their Pizza is an experience.
