Staff are always great. Friendly and accommodating. Food is served promptly and a good variety is offered.
Unfortunately two of todays plates were overcooked: but this was a one off!! (From previous experience). Definitely worth a quick lunch time visit.

Great friendly and helpful bar staff. This is a nice cosy local pub.
They can do a range of bar snacks or finger food, but with the main kitchen under renovation (Jan 2023), you can't order a full meal here.
Reasonably priced drinks and food, although portion sizes are on the small side.

Great food and service will always keep you going back. We were a large group thanks to the staff at the Northern Tavern we'll be back.
Stopped in here as we headed out of Invercargill on Tuesday, great friendly staff member on duty. Had the chowder and bacon butte, could not fault the meal or great service, when back in Invercargill will stop in again.
The staffs are awesome, the food is very delicious and it is the best dog friendly place in Invercargill. You should not go to any other place in Invercargill when you are hungry.

Meals were beautiful and staff were great we had the private room area as we were over 20+ but felt hemmed in when seated (needs re-shuffle with seating) and staff were finding it hard to move in-between tables to set down meals. also would be nice to be able to have a beer as an option with our mea

Awesome feed. It took a while, but it was a busy night. Staff were friendly.
Loved the bar and atmosphere. Had a great blue cod meal and yummy donuts dessert.

Good service, fast and efficient. Great cocktail and excellent value $15 and had triple sec, blue curacao and another alcohol on it. I got the loaded wedges but didnt realise they would be smothered in chilli sauce
Amazing lamb shank good size and even greater taste highly recommend bar staff all very friendly For the 10 of us that ordered our meals came out very fast. Only pitty is I ate the food so fast I never got a photo 😆
