My nana absolutely loves Village Green so whenever we have a get together we go here to eat and I love it, always yummi I had the special last time which was a chicken and corn soup it was beautifully made, always friendly staff and great healthy options on menu, am looking forward to my next trip to Village Green !
First time for a meal at Jagz, and my wife and I were most impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, and always helpful. The fish meals were of a high standard and of a good size. The accompaniments were appropriate. Very well done.
Wonderful Place to eat relax and enjoy the company of good friends, I LOVE this place and it is always my first choice to go out anywhere, they also just cant do enough to help, explain or just chat ... Thanks
I've dropped in here for coffee on numerous occasions, but never for a meal until last night. As usual on my business trips, I dined alone and enjoyed a kumara & bacon salad with chicken. I thought the meal was excellent, well presented and represented good value, although some of the selections listed on the menu as main courses appeared to be quite expensive. Apart from quite a wait for my order to be taken (for which the waitress apologised) the service was good and the staff were friendly. Nothing to dislike, really.
I don't usually do cafe food, however this was worth the visit. Yummy blue cod and well balanced with, salad and decent coffee
One of my favourite weekend meal stops, very friendly staff and great food. Open evenings too. I can recommend the Jagz Fried Chicken and my personal favourite the Thai Seafood Salad with crunchy noodles & nuts surely that counts as a workout with that much chewing đ. Keep an eye on the Fish of The Day, always very good, the Orange Roughy with garlic butter potatoes was excellent on St Pats day. Interesting desserts easily able to tempt you.

A favourite place for me to come and work while enjoying a great hot beverage. They make good coffee here. Relaxed atmosphere with many patrons being of the older generation. I don't mind though!
This establishment is in the heart of Windsor opposite Windsor Community Church playground, run and maintained by Invercargill City Council.
Friendly and helpful staff with quick service. There is a wide choice of menu items or choice of cabinet meals, all of good value.
My partner and I went for a late breakfast/early lunch.
I ordered eggs benedict and my partner had the seafood chowder and a side of wedges/sour cream/sweet chilli. My eggs bene was nice, as was my partnerâs chowder but the wedges were really tasty - best in Invercargill (I donât know if itâs the oil theyâre cooked in...). The service was ok but very slow, despite on one or two other customers being there when we arrived.
I wouldnât rush back but I would definitely return.
Coffee was good.. young lady who served us gave us the best laugh of the day ..her humor was awesome...good place and easily accessible.. prices are reasonable
