The only place around to get coffee and groceries, and I was surprised that their coffee, served in lovely eco friendly cups, tasted much better than I expected. Cat lovers, look out for Pinkie the sweet shop cat, which I was delighted to be informed by the lovely staff (upon my second visit) that she (the cat, not the staff member!) was soundly asleep in a lil box under the table. We had the Oliver’s Smoked Fish and Mussels Pies which were good too. The big table within has some local reading material, colouring sheets with crayons and even so thoughtfully, reading glasses for those who need them! There are even some tee shirts which I was tempted to get though didn’t manage to this time. Looking forward to pop by for good coffee and such anytime I am in Kaiaua again. Thank you for your service.

The Pink Shop is a good find... decent coffee and sandwiches and a selection of cold drinks, pies, etc... it carries the essentials for travelers too. They even swapped a couple of books for me, too. Plenty of parking with the bay being over the road and public toilets and free overnight parking within walking distance

Great shop, lil bit of everything here. Coffee was good, $4.50 for medium, $6 for large.Certainly tastier than the drain water posing as coffee from the Kaiaua chippy down the road. Toasted sandwich for $5 for 3 fillings, yummo! Great to have easy parking, and lots of outdoor seating. Theres a playground, and various seats, and picnic tables, across the road. Even with the tide out, its worth it to go for a wander, or just relax on the grass. The view is always great.

Enjoying breakfast and coffee at The Pink Shop on a sunny sunday morning, overlooking the beach, with the best bacon and egg rolls ever, and the cheese scones, fresh from the oven... nothing better!

Nice cute shop which seems to have a little bit of everything, even a big stack of books for $1 each! We got our breakfast here on a rainy morning after we stayed on the overnight camping spot a little down the road. Tasty coffee and yummy warm breakfast (wholemeal bread option available!)

What else can you say about a lovely eclectic shop that saves you by providing all you need in the wilderness. Well done and we met some lovely people two of whom owned this beautiful green classic (ours is the white Tesla).

This place is a hive of activity . It's the local dairy and a place to stop of for basic snacks , toasted sandwiches, fried things and pies. It was doing a roaring trade when we arrived. I had a cheese and pickle sandwich ( rare to buy in NZ) and a coffee. The coffee was amazing and quite a surprise for such an out of the way place, they know how to make coffee... We are going to go back later for an ice cream.

Wow this gem is located right on the edge of Kaiaua. Lovely local ladies who make big ice creams and one beautiful caramel latte. Worth the 15min drive from Miranda
