Currently on a journey around the South Island to find the best pies.
Ordered,
- sausage roll: filling to pastry ratio was generous as per the photo. Pastry flaky and crispy as expected. Food was warm when purchased
- mushroom steak pie: flavour of mushroom gravy was delicious although I felt that the mushroom filling could have been chunkier. Steak serving was great.
What a nice place in Kaikoura. They have so much food to choose. Everything was fresh prepared and amazingly tasty.
We had Bacon and egg pie and Big beef
Buns are delicious and a good place to stop for afternoon tea if I am on another road trip through here I will make sure to stop through here
This store's bakery are delicious! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommended!
Open from 4 a.m to 4pm! Great place to stop for a break and food. The mountains are glorious covered in snow today.
