Stopped in on our way down to the coromandel.. beautiful setting and delicious food. Definitely recommend the beef croquettes.. Coffee was spot on, service was friendly and professional.
This place has a peaceful serene setting, lovely atmosphere, a warm and cosy setup projecting fine wine & dining. Compliments to the kitchen staff, the service is great and the food is yummy as. Have been here twice now with friends and family and we all enjoyed the delicious food and drinks off the menu. Urban Soul Karaka is definitely on my returns list again for dining out. �������������
Just stumbled upon this little gem by accident. How lucky we were! It's the best place we've been to in ages! The service was friendly and fast. The environment was relaxing and modern and the food was outstanding. We did Our best to avoid the fabulous selection of sweet treats. But I'm sure next time we visit (and there will definitely be a next time) we may not have the strength to resist! Hats off to the owners for running such a top notch establishment. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Took friends out for a drive on Saturday afternoon and called in for lunch. We were all happy with our meals - my fav is the creamy mushroom crepe - always worth the anticipation. Great venue and service - thanks team!
Awesome! Such a cool place. Clean, tidy, fast service. I had the bubble and a squeek which was eggs benne on crispy pork belly. Out of this friggin world! Oh and great coffee! Well done, I will definitely be back. A++

Cosy Environment and Wonderful Menu for Dinner
The morning cafe is a nice bistro at dinner time. Cosy atmosphere and wonderful menu. The decor was warm and inviting, and the lighting created a relaxed and intimate mood.
The menu was simply amazing. There were good delicious options to choose from. I tried the pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious.
Nice place for brunch and yummy hot chocolate. Their chocolate milkshake and pancakes are not overly sweet so it is a good choice for brunch especially when paired with toasties and chips. We ordered large hot choc but a tiny glass came so not sure if the order came wrong or that's their actual serve. While talking and eating, staff wanted to take our plate away (that still had food) so on the third attempt we gave up. This made it feel rushed considering it was a reserved booking. Perhaps an alternative would have been to check if we needed water or wanted more items. Normally, having the plates cleared is a good gesture but it all depends on the approach. Simply wanting to take the plates away without asking if we are done eating is a bit rude.
Very popular spot in the weekends. We came with a group of 15 on a Sunday morning and you definitely need to book ahead. Our orders were taken promptly and food didn't take too long to come out. Good size portions, value for money and excellent coffee as well. I would recommend it if you are out this way
Overall a nice place, nice decor, has huge potential even though it is still busy. For the whole table everything was there but something missing or something under par, poached eggs should have runny yolk (not hard), chicken and waffles over cooked, Wagyu Burger should be juicy, do I cross the highway to many other cafes or do I come back and try again…..
First time here and the experience was really nice! Friendly staff, great food and great atmosphere. We sat outside as the weather was great. Overall experience lived up to expectations. Thanks everyone who served us :)
We visited Urban soul for a valentines lunch date with hubby. We were after a steak and or lamb but what was served were delicious 😋 lamb burger and fish and chips. We love it. Wished that upstairs was open. Other than that we enjoyed. Thank you Urban 😊
What a beautiful find, just down the rd from my friends home! Great food, good variety, very yummy. Quite a modern, trendy cafe with lots of parking & plenty of seating up & downstairs. Lots of staff on & good customer service. Place had really good ambience & very popularvwith a steady flow of customers for the 2 hrs we were there. Can't wait to go back to have something for lunch or dinner there😊

We had our father's day lunch today.. good choice of menu. Chicken burger was awesome but the beef burger was pretty average. Realised that they have heaps of pastry options! Will try it next time.
Okay 5 stars for my food and the venue BUT we did sit out back where there was some construction work next door, so 4.95 :o). Meant there was a little noise and dust that took away from the overall. The Chicken and Waffles are very good, I asked for without the jalapenos and they were nice about it - no judgement. I also tried some of the bacon omelette which was very good. The staff are nice and friendly, service is great and there's plenty to like about Urban Soul in Karaka. Their desert cabinet is scrumptious, you should get get something to take away if you forget to leave room for desert!
A great scape to have a good meal!The place was quite full and they delivered the plates fast! Two Chicken Waffles, what I really recommend. They also have natural juice. The place is modern, spacious with clean bathrooms and nice car park. The staff were very gentle and friendly.
A very enjoyable lunch experience, and great atmosphere~ I like the fact you can choose between different seatings: inside, outside, upstairs, down stairs in the open... Some special food choices too and extensive cabinet food range~ Fried chicken waffle and Rear tuna salad was massive, and the accompany sauce was pretty good~French toast was well presented and soft and sweet~
Love the vibe, the customer service and the food. Been here a few times now and especially love the kids play area
Staff, Service was amazing on our visit both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Food was lovely, cakes would suggest some would be more enjoyable warm in microwave for a few seconds. Even the Aperol Spritz was Devine.
Food selection is amazing. Only tried the roulade, which was nice, but simply may require some more salt when cooking to bring out the flavours. Look forward to trying it again sometime.
