First impressions- very nice, plenty of parking, lovely grounds, play area for the kids as well as outside dinning options. And on the inside, kind of cozy, relaxing, Id describe it as quintessentially kiwi. lots of interesting spaces to explore. So it was lunch for 7 of us, we had our own space, which was really nice. Plenty of interesting dishes on the menu to choose from, and the cabinet was well stocked. We all really enjoyed our meals and drinks, personally my meal was one of the nicest I've had in a while, we would definitely go back again. Cheers.
perfect spot for people passby or who stay in katikati.
pretty chill atmosphere, although there’s mistake on the order but the food still good.
average price, not too expensive + people are nice!

This is a great spot to enjoy amazing food in a beautiful rural setting. It's incredibly charming inside and outside, all the layout, decor and details make this place very unique. The gardens are stunning, full of flowers and nice tables. Love all the collector's items inside. They do the best gluten and vegan scones with the most delicious raspberry jam. Coffee is great too. It would be a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, wedding, or whatever you fancy.
Excellent! Cooler day and sat outside as dogs allowed - they provide bowls and water. We had eggs Benedict with bacon, mushrooms, greenery and sauce. Cooked to perfection and service with a smile which was also fast and efficient - great coffee as well and all reasonably priced. Well worth pulling off the highway for
Beautiful and cosy place. Perfect for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. Good service. Will go again! 🫶🏻
Always a great place for breakfast and lunch. They have several woodstoves for warmth in the colder months which makes a nice cozy atmosphere. Lots of couches to lounge on and read a magazine or paper while having tea.
Not as many vegan options as they used to have, bit still a few on the menu.
Superb steak and cheese pie. Massive and delicious sausage roll perfectly complemented by the coleslaw it came with.
Shared a big bucket of fries that were amazing, best I’ve had in New Zealand (okay I’ve only been here a week but I’ve had quite a few in my life and these are up there).
Was a bit weird that the chips came out before the pies but this worked out nicely, the aioli and salsa were great. Nice that the pastry goodies were warmed in the oven not a microwave.
Coffees were excellent. Service was good. Toilets were clean. All easily accessible.
Great spot with different areas to eat. Coffee was perfect and food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place and will be back to visit again.
Food was good. However was astounded when asked to pay an extra 6.50$ to change poached eggs to scrambled. Funnily enough when my food arrived the the eggs were poached still. Sometimes you just have to laugh.
Edit :
Have changed Review to 5 stars as owner kindly offered to reimburse me for the mistake . Top notch 🙏
What a gem of a place, I am one of many that pass this wonderful spot and haven't stopped for years. Called in late Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a bite to eat and they stock the best local kombucha you will ever find. Food was great and really good variety as well. Highly recommended.
Lovely cafe with a gorgeous garden area. The food is great, I had the vegan sausage roll which was perfect using pulled jackfruit and good coffee too.
Visited this place in June and the place had a catchy vibe all thanks to that one big tree in front with all yellow leaves. Food and coffee were good like most cafe's. Amazing sitting space and ample amount of parking space.
Good food prepared on site. Eclectic decor yet friendly and comfortable place for coffee and food.
Lovely setting but one staff memeber kept taking food out the display to place on plates with bare hands.......we were tad shocked.
