Take a stroll up the coloured steps to this charming little Katikati cafe and you will be pleasantly surprised. Great views down the main road and a beautiful flat white. Highly recommend to all. James Ashwin Kakapo Business

Nice spot upstairs overlooking the main road through katikati. As the name implies it's on a balcony on the corner of a little shopping center. There are only steps up that I could see so no wheelchair access I guess (they were colourful though!). They have the usual range of coffee as well as breakfast options, a lunch menu and a selection of tasty meals for dinner with plenty of sweat treats and drinks to go with.

I ate here a few times recently and thought the bacon and egg pie that they make was amazing. The breakfast deal is a good little filler too. Great coffee and the choice of sitting outside and watching the world go by or reading the paper provided inside. I'll be back for the Thai food at lunchtime too!

My wife and I spent time together for breakfast in this cafe. I must say, their food was really good and the price is just right. Service was exceptional. All the staff were cheerful especially the manager. Will recommend this cafe! Keep it up!

All the food we had was amazing. The Smashed Avocado special was fresh and inspired: with Chicken Schnitzel, beetroot and mango. The kids pancakes with berries were delicious - my nearly 5-year-old often gives up on cafe pancakes , but she loved every bite! Chips were fried perfectly (crisp outside, fluffy inside, fresh oil). Will be back next time we’re passing through. (Also close to a playground if you’re looking for a stop with kids)

Great hospitality! Had a lovely lunch with my husband. Got myself a Pad Thai and the All Day Special for my hubby. Nice look of the town from upstairs, nice, neat and quiet atmosphere. Very good place, will recommend.

Definitely 5 stars! The best food in Kati. The staff are always pleasant and singing. Have arranged meals for every palate. Kiwis meals and some Asian offerings. Would definitely recommend.

Our favourite cafe here in town, great food / coffee / staff, nice spot to relax and watch SH2 drive on thru, 10/10, Russell and Grace S. :)

This is a nicely appointed café with a bird's eye view over Katikati's main thoroughfare. You'll find good coffee, lots of cabinet food selections and a comprehensive brunch menu. The outdoor tables are a nice option in good weather.
