Gold Ribbon - Kelston - Photo album

The best Filipino cuisine in Auckland . Reasonable priced. Always busy with Filipino families and foreign friends. Make sure to place a reservation specially on weekends.
The best Pinoy restaurant in town 🫢🏻 thank you to all the staff :)
Prawn sinigang here is really good! Just right amount of sourness. I quite like the kawai lechon, too. A bit pity that pork sisig was not available on the day that I came so did not manage to try that. Oh and the ube icream is superb! I’d come back for that ice cream. Definitely!!!!
Authentic Filipino cuisine. It reminds me of home and they cooked it the traditional way. Lechon kawali was a bit dry for me but taste wise it was good. Pakbet was the best because it really reminded me of home. Halo-Halo had a good serving and was delicious.
Gold Ribbon, love these guys. A very warm place with family style Filipino food. I think the place used to be a Subway going off the interior.
Ordered the Ube Cake to do Post and Pre birthday celebrations for my friends and myself. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚ This cake is made fresh so needs to be preordered. πŸ™‚ It was super yummmm. Is made of coconut cream and this root vegetable called Ube/Yam . πŸ™‚ You have to try it out. πŸ™πŸ¦‹πŸŒΈπŸ¦‹πŸ˜‚πŸ¦‹
Great place to eat Filipino food! Highly recommend. Super delicious (personal favorites is pancit palabok, lechon kawali and Kare kare) and they even had taho which was a nice surprise! Their cakes are also amazing.
Food has always been good from this Filipino restaurant. Though they have increased the prices, serving size is still bigger compared to others. Keep it up team!
What we ordered: - $6 Yema cake slice - $6 Ube cake slice - $14 Fiesta halo halo - $8 Pandan shake We also got three ensaymada for $10, we haven't tried them yet though because of the intense sugar crash we're currently recovering from. I have never had halo halo, nor anything ube flavoured, nor p
I wish I had a lot of space in my tummy so that I could eat all of the nice food they have in store. Another unique taste of Filipino food here in Auckland.πŸ™‚
Filipino approved! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ πŸ‘πŸΌ Their ube cake was so fluffy and moist. Really tasted like ube. It was delicious. The kare-kare was also really flavorful. Big chunks of meat and vegetables.
Had beef kare kare and a slice of ube cake. The kare kare was very good, its under-salted but you're meant to have it with the shrimp paste which perfectly seasons it. But only have a little of the paste with each spoonful because its powerful stuff. The ube cake was delicious of course as many othe
Authentic Filipino food because it was a Filipino friend brought me there. 4 of us shared boneless crispy pata (deep fried boneless pork leg ), Cebu’s bam-I and 2 slices of cake. Tasty and good value for money. Will go again to try other food on the menu.
Support your local! The pancit here is legit, esp the Canton version. Have also had some great boodle fights here! Ensure you book this before hand. The service is always great here with food always fresh. Did they mention their specialities are baked goods! Get their UBE cake :)
Me and my friends always go here if were missing filipino foods. The ube cake love it, halo halo, sinigang, dinuguan, palabok, kare kare, crispy mata and more to try check their menu.
