This is a community pub in a small town in NZ. If you're expecting "a special night" then make one here. Food is great (and filling), Service is friendly, Atmosphere is great (this is a pub and can be quiet on occasions). Pool tables are well maintained, music "on tap" and retro. Worth a visit even

Can't put five clause didn't try the food! Great host in Nicky. An early afternoon on the appropriately quiet out door deck to catch up on some work! No chance this time to try the food. Want to go back when I can make the visit totally social! Karaoke or a band night! Appears to have all the basics

Great friendly and efficient bar service, considering the amount of people in the bar, good TAB section of the bar, with good sized TV monitors, they have both serviced and self-service totalisators, pokies section and clean restrooms.

The best pool tables in town! Plus really great house wine. Will definitely be coming back.

Highlight: super friendly staff! Food was delivered quick and hot. I got the beef schnitzel (hint of rosemary on the crumb was a nice surprise) with salad that was well dressed and not over done. Large servings for the price makes this place great value. If you don't want a huge meal, then perhaps

What a place! Great Staff, Amazing meals which are awesome value for $$$. Will be telling all I know to stop in. Had the Homestead beef burger and had to take a home the other half. Hubby had the same but couldn't finish his fries. Thank you Homestead
