Highly recommended and definitely a 5 star experience. The fish and chips are delicious! We have visited several times recently and each time the food and overall experience has been excellent.

Delicious food. I was surprised at how much I got for so little cost . Am definitely going back. Staff were friendly, and atmosphere great. All I ordered was a fish burger and $2.50 chips for lunch. Total was $11. It quite filled me up for rest of day!
It's a popular local fish and chip shop they have a good menu and for me they make yummy mussel fritters.

Nicely redecorated recently, trendy upbeat piped background music, nice friendly young staff behind the counter and all seemed to do various roles in the shop. Very busy, nice TAWs.
After 22 years of living in Kerikeri, I have been to Calypso 5 or 6 times with previous owners. This is the first time I have had fish and chips from there and know that I will go back. Hopefully the quality stays the same and the owners stick around for a while.

Had the pleasure of dining on snapper & chips from here tonight. The fish was deliciously fresh & cooked to perfection. The chips had a light dusting of salt & were also cooked to perfection. Thank you so much to the lovely friendly staff, you do a great job👏 Happy New Year 🥳
My only request is that the fish need to be drained more, it can be a bit oily which spoils the crispiness of your wonderful batter!!!

Delicious scallops, fish, havent worked out the Hot dog has sausage skin still on it, sovwill try the battered sausage. The chips are great. I can't eat that many! Yip, I only get the 1/2 scoop.
