A nice cafe in kumeu. Beautiful view if you can get the seat closer to the windows. Ordered salmon salad , pumpkin kumara salad and blueberry pancakes. All were good. I felt Indoor seating area is too congested.
Just had the pleasure of Saturday Brunch here. Great food with very high quality produce served in generous quantity at a very reasonable price.
Smiling service that made you feel welcome and part of the experience.
Definitely a place to return to.
One of the best eggs Benedict! They also load on bacon portions and their ice chocolate/berry smoothie are delicious 👌🏼 definitely recommend
Great cafe. Been here a couple of times and it is always busy. large portions but very well cooked. Even better to eat and look over the paddocks. Coffee was good and quick and great service
We had a delicious breakfast this morning. Portion sizes were massive, the scrambled eggs are delicious and they are not shy when it comes to the bacon. Coffee was pretty good too.
Blossoms was amazing, the food is delicious however not putting prices on the food labels is really frustrating. The poor girl over the counter had to keep telling us how much everything is. Other than that it’s amazing but please add prices to your food!!
Went here with my work mate and we had a yummy meal and great wine, The location is just perfect over looking the orchard. Staff really lovely. I will definitely be going again. Thanks Blossoms Cafe.
Nice food. we had the eggs Benedict. Generous amount of bacon and well cooked eggs. I wasnt keen on the hollandaise because it was very buttery, but my partner loved it
Really lovely staff and the food is delicious! Good prices and the outside area overlooking the orchard is beautiful. Every time I have been it’s always been great!!
Beautiful view, warm sunny deck area. Big generous servings. Had the pancakes, what you'd typically expect, could do with more maple syrup, but heaps of bacon included
Lousy weather today but it was almost packed to the rafters. Amazingly food was served in 12 minutes. I recommend the big breakfast for blokes . Eggs Bene is a little on the small size
Blossoms is a cute wee cafe positioned besides Borics Orchard that has gathered everything about Auckland fringe charm and let it free. The food menu is so traditionally Kiwi that you'll likely not need a menu to order, and the clucking of chickens just outside delivers the perfect quirky charm. The coffees, as expected, are good and there's a pretty extensive drink menu. I ordered the french toast with maple, bacon and banana and each component was done well. The serving size of bacon was incredibly large and the bread was crisp and coating in a light dusting of granulated sugar to gove it an extra bit of crunch. Banana was grilled beautifully and all in all, the fish was large enough that I couldn't finish it. The real gem of the cafe though is the macadamia and toffee cake. It is divine- the topping of it is so sweet and crunch and delicious, and the cake itself is moist. Served with custard, it's a total treat. Blossoms is great because it is simply honest Kiwi cafe fare, done really well.
Love the interior with its crisp green chairs and beautiful views. The breakfast salad is a dish that i would order again, fresh, fresh ingredients! Generous portions.
Been many a time but this time we sat outside with the umbrella up enjoying the sun. Hot chocolate was delicious and so were the 3 yummy pancakes with a whole banana and lots of yummy mouth watering bacon. The maple syrup comes in a cute little jar perfect for people like me who do not like it. Staff are all smiling and friendly. A very busy little place. ☺
I always come here to meet family! It’s very delicious and has heaps of Parking. The food is great! And the coffee is delicious. They offer your basic cafe foods and also have yumm cabinet food.
Blossoms is simply the best cafe in West Auckland in my opinion! The cafe is situated by a lovely little garden and its so nice if you can get a seat that looks out the window! I cant go past the big breakfast, i always ask for my bacon to be extra fried and absolutely looove the bread they use its kind of like turkish bread. The cabinet also has many different delicious foods such as muffins, wraps and cakes! Definitely worth a visit.
I ate lunch here with my mum the other day. Awesome calamari...OK salad...could use some capsicum or crispy noodles for texture and crunch. Mums BLAT was good and the coffee's ( flat whites) were awesome too. Will come back for sure.
Great cafe for a weekend brunch. The servings are very generous and it's hard to go past the Eggs Benny. Nice spot and reasonably priced. Great little play area next door at Boric for the kids. Only downfall would be the coffee, My wife is a coffee fanatic and rated it a 6/10.

We stopped here on our way to the Kumeu classic car show. I've never been here but our friend mentioned this is a good place.
The cafe is small but with a larger outdoor eating area. It has a pretty good view. You have to line up to order and you get given a number.
I got the Pandoro breakfast and my friends got the big breakfast, vudu breakfast and stack of pancakes.
The servings here are massive so you get pretty good value for your money. The prices are reasonably to start with but we were impressed at how much food they served us.
Our breakfasts were great and they were so generous with the bacon. The pancakes were the best with fresh blueberries. Overall we had a great experience here and will consider coming back.
Good food and lovely location. Simple and homely atmosphere. They are consistent with every meal and you can count on satisfaction and many returns
The coffee/drinks was pretty good, the chicken burger is recommended, good portion, good flavour, price is a little bit on the high side but $2 more than i expected is reasonable.. the bread is the highlight for the burger. The chips that came with is freshly made but it isnt salted. The salad was abit dull. The view and chicken running around the atmosphere itself is worth a visit thou.
On our way to see the Gannet colony at Muriwai, we scheduled a stop at Blossoms. The food cabinet still offered a tempting assortment since the last visit a couple of years ago. The Salmon Filo came with a delicious chutney and hot, crisp chips and salad accompanied the quiche. Loved the Plum Friand with our coffee. The cafe was busy and I thought that the food and coffee was still as good as I remembered. And a bonus for foodies is to browse the shelves at the Boric Foodstore next door. This would be a great place to have a coffee or a casual meal if you have children to entertain. The adjacent playground outside, complete with old tractors, would keep the kids happy. After refuelling we successfully overcame challenging gusty winds and climbed the cliff at the beach to see the gannets. Of course, after all that exercise a pot of tea and a date scone at the beach cafe completed a wonderful day. Even more enjoyable as I reached my daily target of 10,000 steps!
Enjoyed a family lunch here, food was lovely with large portions..., booked a table as there were 11 of us and they were very obliging, worked well.
Great for children also as toys supplied, lovely on the verandah in the Sun on the winter day we went. A playground next door is also a great draw card. Will definitely be returning, most enjoyable food and hot coffee... Thanks
If you like All Press coffee, it's hard to find a better cup than at Blossoms. Love the sandwiches and pastries. Sit down and look over the orchards of Kumeu and read a paper on the way to work.
Still the best place we have found to satisfy our sweet toothed, brunch and coffee all in one go.
Deeeeelish Breakfasts on the Weekend! Table space is a bit tight at times, but hey... that's the way it's got to be because the place is always packed :) Very bright and vibrant. Love it
Great food and very generous serving sizes, I had the squid and my wife had the chicken melt, both were very tasty. The white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake was a little disappointing but overall we were very pleased, especially with how quick we got our food considering how busy the place was.
Fantastic meals and coffee !! Very very generous serving sizes absolutely beautiful fresh cakes and muffins will defiantly be back :) just a note if you are a group over 4 you should book in advance as they can get seriously busy over the weekend !
AWESOME! That is the only way to describe this cafe. Service is great, food is always tantalisingly good. Today we had Chicken salad & Regal Salmon salad followed by Raspberry meringue cake! No wonder we keep coming back! Blossom's you ROCK!
Food was fantastic, coffee wasn't weak, it was a good as I'd expect anywhere. Very generous servings of crispy streaky bacon, it actually reminded me that New Zealand has the best tasting bacon in the world (having recently moved back from over the ditch)! I actually ordered the Xena meal. Pesto was great, bagel was crisp, avocado perfect, I just wanted a couple more tomatoes.
Service was ok. We had a visitor from overseas and when we asked, the waitress took photos for us. The welcome was ordinary and the guy making the coffees wasn't very talkative but overall, the food made up for any shortcomings.
I've been to Blossoms on a number of occassions and have always had friendly service and amaazing food. It's a great place to go and relax with a friend or your mum or even your partner. I recommend you give it a try and ignore all those other negative comments - some people have nothing better to do!
We have just arrived home from our regular weekly lunch at Blossoms. Food was lovely, cake was divine, Latte great. Everything so fresh . The service was very good, The price right, and the folk friendly and hospitable. Keep up the good work girls. Our friends and we, love the place and will keep comming back as long as you are there and the quality stays the same.
We go to Blossoms at least twice a week and have been enjoying its fresh and innovatve food for over 10 years. The best coffee in Auckland (Allpress) ...the all day breakfast is always a great meal, and they do proper poached eggs ... Yolk lightly cooked and the white's set, not hard and not reeking with an after-taste of vinegar like some places. The staff are friendly and cheery. I know that the cakes, slices and sandwiches are always fresh and made fresh every day.
Visited Blossoms cafe for my Birthday. Delicious fish and chips, creamy and chunky seafood chowder. Would love to go back there to try out the breakfast menu.
Nice outlook of the orchard with apple trees and heaps of friendly chickens.
Very sorry to hear that Mardi did not enjoy her mothers day visit to our cafe. As you will appreciate,on this day we are extremely busy, and some things like Paninis and Toasted sanwiches are for that day off the menu.We do cater for this day,and as we are well known for our fresh baked foods....once we have sold out of something it is pulled off the menu. I hope you come back again and give us a 2nd chance. (From a 10 year employee of Blossoms.)
I have never had a bad visit too this place and I go there weekly. The staff are friendly and go the extra mile and the food is always fresh and fabulous!!!!
Not too big, colourful and very friendly. Set in an orchard with apple trees and friendly chooks. Great meals. Great cakes. Try their Raspberry Meringue or the Macadamia Toffee or their little chocolate cupcakes.... You'll be impressed. Because we're greedy we usually have the works... the special plus cake plus wine plus coffee and are completely surfeited. Reasonable prices.
Judy and David.
Used to be a regular here many years ago and then move from the area so we decided to go back and seehow they have fared in our absence.
The answer - pretty darn well.
They have made some changes to the deck area and it has worked well. They have more seating and it is really nice to sit and watch the chickens wander around the orchard.
The menu still has the same staples with a few things added so we sat down and order the Xena and the Vudu just like the old days. And just like the old days they were exactly the same and so we were thrilled as that was what we came for. Service was fast and friendly. It was like catching up with an old friend so a very pleasant morning was had.
The only thing to watch here is that this a very busy place with fairly "cosy" seating so don't expect a quiet interlude while you dine.
Was great to go back and now I know that it is still good will go back again but wont wait as long this time.
PS Boric orchard shop there also is worth stopping in to see as they have all sorts of treats on sale.
Such a cute little cafe with an amazing location and setup. The balcony looks right onto a orchard which has chickens, hens and ducks running round freely. Quite fun to just sit there and watch while you wait for your food. The food is pretty damn good, the portions a generous and the staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend! Woof!
Lots of seating and table arrangements. Lovely views while you dine. Had the Blueberry pancakes, just delicious! Can't wait to eat here again.
Went with friends for a brunch. Had 'stack of pancakes' with grilled banana and a flat white in a bowl. It was filling and yum! Cute and cozy cafe. Great view and a great service too! Lovely ladies~
Would definitely visit again for lunch menu.
The food was fantastic ! I had the Chefs special asparagus spears sautéed in garlic butter, bacon, and eggs on toast. It was no trouble for them to add a side of mushrooms to that. My friend got the classic mince on toast, which h they happily added asparagus spears to for him. My other friend got a lovely chowder, although, I don't think seafood chowder is supposed to have vegetables in it. But it was thick and creamy and hot, so well done.
If it is on their menu, they will happily mix and match for you. Wonderfull, people !
Awesome ambiance and delicious food. Must visit
You can guarantee the best food each we visited this cafe. Fresh and generous portions and slices. We love the feel of fresh air coming the orchards.
One of myself and my wife favorite place. Weekend will be quite busy, but they always can keep smiling and provide service as best they can do. The most outstanding is the cake, cream very smooth , not too much sweet, good balance.
Having morning tea pleasant cafe and service. Enjoyed my coffee but disappointed with the Christmas mince tart had some crumble stuff on top which made it too sweet but I did eat it. My friend had the savoury scone which she said was good and a soy flat white.
Hubby had burger and chips, I had salmon salad, was delicious with greens, tomato, avocado, toasted Ciabatta and generous smoked salmon. Couldn't fault it, though a wedge of lemon would be nice to cut the richness of the smoked salmon. Sorry we had started eating when we took the pics, it was plated beautifully before we attacked it lol.
Only had coffee, one being almond milk and single shot large and both coffees done well. Toys for children to play with. Clean toilet. Good parking. Happy diners there.
Family type of cafe and food, very cosy and ample parking. Preety good service and good to a quick stop to fuel up with food and coffee. Resoable prices and serving is on medium/smaller side.
Great place to eat. A really nice atmosphere & the staff are always welcoming.
Nice outdoor area overlooking an orchard. Food was ok, pancakes would be better served with a bit of cream & no banana skin. Staff were friendly, it would be a good place to have lunch with a big group on a sunny day.
Best Eggs Benedict ever! Huge portion of really yum bacon. Great coffee and cakes looked fabulous. Great value for money
Staff were nice and served quickly. Ordered from the menu and the food was great. Food in cabinet looked nice. Coffee was in a glass that was too hot to touch. Sat out in the covered porch with windows open to a lovely country view. Glad they were open because all of the windows were dirty and gross. Not just from people touching them, but from weather. Didn't look they had been cleaned recently. Really ick.
Great service, great views and, what do you know...great food too! 🙂
