I came here in 2019 and loved it but forgot to post a review. I came back again in 2023 the service, the food and the coffee is still the best. Fabulous place in Tekapo. It has the best Japanese service and quality!

Can get very busy. Saturday morning in August was about a 30 min wait for food. I got the French toast and it was great, though a little drowned in berry juice. The chocolate dessert was good but a little airy inside for my taste.
Local recommended to go here for breakfast, said it's the best in Tekapo and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend the pancakes. Very large portions, reasonable prices, extremely yummy food. This place is popular and you can expect it to be busy when you visit. Even with the large throws of people to satisfy we found the service friendly and efficient.
Definitely one of the go to spots for breakfast and coffee at Lake Tekapo. Huge selection of food with plenty of vegetarian options too. We were surprised at how good the coffee was especially Tekapo being on the smaller size in terms of population.
