Delicious chicken bombshell. Go for it burger was pretty good. Staff could use a few more smiles, but were friendly enough. Fireplace and pool table, plenty of seating. Music and video clips playing on the TV. Normal beer selection for a south island tavern. Average but liked it.

We called in for a dinner break on the way home to Christchurch - and to watch a bit of the cricket. Great little local pub with standard food, indoor and outdoor seating and a gaming area. Staff were nice and it wasn't too crowded. I would go back.
A nice tavern located adjacent to Lake Tekapo. The scenery offered at this place, the lake itself with Mt Cook at the far end, will make your eyes rest and happy while enjoying whatever beverages you choose to have.

Friendly and helpful staff! Was passing through and needed a WiFi connection to send an important message. The bartender handed me a code slip without question, without purchase.
Great place to have a break if you are on your way to Christchurch. Lovely little cafe, with great views of the mountains and lake!
