Quite a few vegan options! Ratatouille, chips and dumplings were so nice. Our waiter was amazing as well. Not too badly priced too.
Lovely the service- staff and chef were super friendly and helpful and up for a chat. My kid was interested in the billiards and they showed him a little of how to play and recommended the fish that night which was fresh and spectacular! Will definitely come back next time we’re in town.
Friendly staff, meal was delicious and not badly priced. We were staying at the local camp ground and it was an easy walk. Will be back next time we visit
The place was good spot for fish and chips. Got there pretty late and was fortunate they still could serve me.
Great place for a feed.. was really happy to see Gurnard available.. unfortunately it was a little over cooked.. I should have gone for no batter and enjoy my fav fish nude/pan fried.. but it all tasted excellent.. the chippies are perfect. Good service and staff. I always enjoy it here.
The vegan burger was way better than I expected. Good fries (not as good as in the fish and chips place though). Not a lot of beer options but good options and very friendly staff. I'd rate 4.5, 5 is too generous and 4 too harsh.
Real nice place very friendly staff and yummy small plates we shared - salt and pepper squid was literally the best I’ve ever had so yum! Really enjoyed our visit. The steak and fries looked incredible so much that we almost stayed for dinner too but had other plans - next time :)
Absolutely a must go restaurant. Open, airy and wonderful staff. I'm going back just for the cheesecake

Great wee spot. Lovely people, unpretentious and old skool charm. Food is a simple and nicely done menu. Hard working bunch of people there and would certainly recommend and go back there but remember its old skool NZ (don't expect all the food you order to come out at the same time) and all the bet
