We had ordinary wine and tap beer. - actually drinks are not special. But their ambience and service are nice to have drinks under the sun. I didn't expect the dessert is nice at the bar but it was so good.
The desert had a cute look and combination of the icecream and toppings were so good.
I will go back for another drink next time :)
We went for a birthday lunch. We started with Bar Snacks, yummy. Then we had steak and chicken burger and finished with dessert. The meals came out quick which is what you want when you eat out. Nothing worse than having to wait forever. We want to acknowledge the manager, Honey Bee who was polite and professional. She ensured that we were looked after and knew what was what.
Steak was delicious. Prices are reasonable. The service was exceptional. Honey is a very lovely waitress who was always checking in making sure we were happy and ok. A must do in summer with the beach down the road. Great location for summer.
Lovely place to bring kids in. They got their complimentary juice. Love this easy vibes going around the whole place, good is lovely especially the beef brisket. Defiantly be coming back!
Popped in after a walk on the beach and could have stayed for hours. Great food, awesome atmosphere and lots of seating options indoors and out. Will be back for sure.

Greeted on arrival which made the experience that more enjoyable and welcoming. It wasn’t that long until our waitress took our drinks order and service was quick.
We ordered the tandoori chicken, poutine (best comfort food) and the gin & maple chicken wings!! A great range of food is on offer which is easy to nibble on and share!
The attention to detail was amazing from the set up and how the menus and condiments are placed I really did notice.
The place is huge, with so many setting arrangements...from inside to outside in the sunshine.
They have weekday deals and happy hour drink choices!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and drinks and was worth the drive!
Food was great, especially the vegetarian pizza and poutine was spot on.
The outdoor seating area is huge so you’ll be able to sit outside on a sunny day without fighting for a spot.
And the staff were attentive and super friendly! Especially the two older guys and girl in the white top who I assume are managers really gave off the vibe that they knew what they were doing. they gave the place personality and made it a super relaxed time:)

Popped in for lunch with my fam after a walk and we got seated quite quickly and in a good spot and got given menus straight away. There is so much seating so you'd easily find a place to sit. Our drinks came out so fast, I had one of the fruity mocktails and it was so yum. To eat we ordered the calamari, shoestring fries, gin & maple fried chicken and the beach bum & waverider pizzas to share. The pizzas were a good size and were nice and the chicken was a little sweet but still My family enjoyed the calamari and the fries were good too. I would recommend to add some more vegies/salads to the sides menu as I would have loved something fresh to cut between everything. The service was so quick and friendly, our food and drinks came out super quickly and everyone was so nice. We all had a good time and will totally be back in again! Totally recommend if you are in the area :)
Had a lovely dinner this evening thoroughly enjoyed by me and my partner. food was delicious and very quick. Staff were excellent will definitely be returning to try more of the menu

Went to Longbay Surf Club for Rugby on Saturday Night with friends, very busy but friendly staff managed to get us a seat in lounge area, meals were amazing, we order from the restaurant menu but the highlight was the dessert the Flummery AMAZING, definitely will be going back.
Thought we would try the new addition to the Bays. Very impressed, great location, fun, trendy decor and atmosphere. Menu as you would expect for this style of restaurant, presented well and good flavours. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. A new regular for us.
Best tasting food and greatly presented, portion sizes good and great vibe with awesome music ! , manager makes the place at home! Really the place to be in the north-shore! #bestvibeintown

NB. Easter Saturday
I’ve seen a lot of good stuff on SN marketing and me a s mate thought we’d give it s crack. Spot seemed nice, precariously not by the beach, but has a fun family vibe (is lose the ping pong table by the road - some kid is going to get taken out bar a car real soon). We grabbed a table, ordered drinks and half a dozen items off the grazing menu. About 40 minutes later , no food, and the waitress politely comes and apologies for forgetting to put through our order. THANK YOU FOR THE HONESTY, it goes a long way. We got our food shortly after. Artichoke nachos were cool- the artichoke butter was super tasty and the dish was light, well present, everything in order. Loved the marmite sauce with the fries - fluffy, rich and authentic. Wings (mostly Minnie nibbles) were on point. Simple and done perfectly, crunchy, juicy and so much flavour. Squid was crunch on the outside, tender in the middle. Beef skewers were a huge miss, marinated and served rare it had stewed a little with a couple of pieces still containing elastin that we couldn’t eat after a long time chewing. I got asked by three separate people how the meal was. One of them listened, one didn’t know what to say and the third was busy having an arguement with a colleague.
I will probably go back as the food was full of flavour and I want to try more and the service was understandable as they had probably been hammered all busy long weekend. Give it a try, good range of offerings and lots of tvs to watch the game on :)

Beautiful place, well designed and great outdoor and indoor seating. We did think prices were on the high side for Long Bay - more like Auckland City prices. Smallest side of fries for $8 we have ever seen. Wine $10 a glass. Main courses pretty pricey. Music too loud for us as we like to be able to have a conversation with friends when we go out without shouting and prefer music to be "background" level. Great to see them so busy for opening night though and wish their business every success.
We walked pass by yesterday, my wife asked staff do we need any booking for Sunday night dinner, and they said just coming any time. Today when we arrived 7pm,they told us all dishes were sold out, only drinks were available. I think they should told us when we were asking about the booking. It was very annoying to look for another dinning place at 7pm on Sunday, and we were 5 adults plus 2 children.this is really unpleasant experience.
Update: after few month, we went back for lunch few times.
It’s much better experience compare when they open.
Food is nice and staffs are very friendly.would recommend to anyone visiting long bay.
5 stars isn’t enough. Wow what a cool place. Amazing atmosphere and vibe. The classic rock playlist had my family all grooving away, singing and dancing. Service was amazing and wonderful with my 3year old. Try the squid!!

This is a super cool place for a drink and a meal.
My family and I dined here on a Sunday evening in mid March. We sat outdoors, and with a light breeze blowing and some mild heat lingering from the day's sun, it was pleasant and comfy.
Service was quite fast, despite my trepidation when I arrived, after taking a look at the casually attired young staff members. Our table waiter looked like a school kid, but he turned out to be efficient and polite. The drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, but I was surprised that the food followed shortly thereafter, in fact before we had finished our drinks.
I ordered the beef nachos, and what a generous serving it was, with lashings of tender, sliced beef, a bit stringy but flavoursome and accompanied by all manner of nachos-style goodies like smashed avocado, sour cream, beans and of course the main thing that gives this dish it’s real punch, the crispy fried tortilla chips.
Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We paid 140 pesos for three adult meals, one kids meal, two beers and a cold drink. Being a visitor to N.Z., that didn’t strike me as being overly pricey, especially given the high quality of the meals, nice ambience and the fast and efficient service.
There are ample toilets at the back of the venue although by 7.30pm they were dirty and in need of a clean up.
Parking doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem in any of the nearby side streets, although we were lucky to find a spot right outside.
This is a busy joint I believe on a weekend, so it’s probably worth reserving a table, as we did. It was about ¾ full, and the atmosphere was quite lively and energetic, but also casual, laid back and relaxed. Perfect for a night out with my N.Z. fam.
Great vibe, great location and eatery. Service was pretty slow at the start. Took ages for us to order as staff never came to take our order.
The food was delicious. Had the snapper boat, was still a bit hungry after but enjoyed it anyway.
Price wise, your pretty average Auckland prices... $34 ish for a dish that feeds you not you aren't stuffed but good quality.
Fantastic location for drinks and food after beach or when ever you need some delicious food. The location is very clean and stylish, the people are friendly and the food is really yummy.

The Surf Club decor is in line with the theme, with indoor areas fitted out to host couples large groups or section off for a private gathering. Outside, there is a variety of choices for you and your crew.
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. Needing a recommendation, the attendants are happy to help guide you thru the menu.
A curated drinks menu with the classics and some with a twist, to couple with the food menu.
Great new watering hole on the north shore. Nice open plan space with a variety of seating options. Large menu & great for kids. Love the ping pong table.

Came here for some Sunday brunch and the food was amazing. I got the fish and chips! Cooked to absolute perfection.

Always a nice vibe and great food. Menu changes slightly but same themes and consistent standard. Very tasty pizzas and chicken wings.
Pizza was so tasty! Chips had a lovely seasoning and the staff were welcoming, attentive and smiley. Sport on the screens and dog friendly too!

First time here. I never knew this area was here. Great spot to get something to eat after a walk in long bay. We played table tennis while waiting for our food.
