I had a salmon steak and it was delicious. It was perfectly cooked. The soy butter sauce the salmon was swimming in was a perfect compliment for the salmon. And there was plenty of sauce, which is so important to me!

Great place to have lunch. Awesome food. And really yummy home made French treats. Another point to note is that the cafe is not too noisy. It is an absolute gem of a place to meet a colleague. The ceilings are properly treated for sound and music is not too loud.
Friendly service! Really yummy Sweet and Sour milkshake worth a go! Steak and Chips were really nice the wedges could have been cooked slightly less... But really awesome lunch!

Happy and grateful to dine in to this place. Love the atmosphere of the café. The Café is spacious and look and feels cozy. Hubby and I had breakfast and a late lunch. The food is delicious. Reasonable price. Will come and dine here again with our kids. Highly recommend.

5 stars all around at this beautiful cafe. Located near dowse art museum and in town hall. Plenty to do and close to lower hutt city. Delicious meals ( steak n chips, fish and chips and Thai beef salad.) Nicely cooked and presented and was great value for price.

The staff and food are fantastic. When my daughter didn't finish her meal, our waitress came to check if the meal was alright and offered to provide a replacement meal. We have never had that level of service before anywhere! I highly recommend Tūtaki Cafe.
