My mother always says 'precious things come in small packages'. That describes Alicetown Espresso exactly. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with fantastic hot beverages, a delicious selection of sweet and savoury foods, a cooler-full of cold drinks, and lots of heart.
The Espresso shops are all same same but different. Same great coffee and food at each one with a slightly different vibe. Love dropping into this one after dropping the kids at school due to a fantastic location. Highly recommend!
Discovered this wee gem while working in the area and looking for a good coffee.
Not only did we find awesome coffee, but awesome tasty food and amazingly awesome super friendly staff. We visit every time we are passing and go out of our way to come here.. it really is that good.
Popped in for coffee and a snack. Had the chicken toastie and was superb. Great coffee and friendly staff. Next time I’m driving past Alicetown, ill pop in.
Fantastic food and service. Pandoro brand is unbeatable, for a petite cafe they have an incredible range of food. A weekend favourite for sure. Probably one of the best cafes in Wellington. Highly recommend.

Efficiency, quality and service, they know how to do this. Easily best coffee in Lower Hutt, front runner across Wellington region. Whenever I shout a work colleague a coffee, after they taste it they're like "Daaaim! Where'd you get this?!" 🤯
We have been coming here a few times a week for the last three months and we have a great experience every time. The service is always quick and friendly. My husband loves the coffee, I love the chai latte and the mint hot chocolate! Highly recommend!
