Absolutely lovely kai
The first time I went it had just opened so there wasn't the usual waiting line(because it's so good it's always pumping). I had the choice of everything. Yummy dessert, great range of their own cheese's, milk, yoghurt, ice-creams &Great coffee.. The prices are reasonable. The young lady who took my first order was absolutely lovely. It's definitely worth a visit for some yummy local treats
Yum. Had a chocolate gf brownie that was delicious. Coffee tasted great but mine was a bit cool. Hubby's was hot tho... Tables outside. Bit cold for that today. No inside seating allowed with Covid restrictions right now (Feb 22) 3 people are allowed inside shop and you have to wait outside for your order. My kids love the milkshakes there.
Organic cheeses (halloumi, ricotta, feta), ice cream, yoghurt and milk. Quite a wee shop but a huge array of products. Some indoor seating, bit more outside. Super busy Saturday lunchtime but the staff were really polite and friendly, wee bit of a wait but to be expected. Milkshakes are huge with a few different flavors. Lots of counter food sweet and savoury. Lots of parking around.
6 Months & Recently - The Cake wow 😊 It was delicious, brought 3 pieces, for my family.But it wasn't just The cake, there were other tasteful cakes. Also the service is excellent ..... Its a must.
We've been Zany Zeus regulars for many years now & long before Scarlett Johansson called their chocolate cake the best of her life. Our obsession & regular Saturday outing comprises ridiculously good-value halloumi sammies, coffee, a tub of ice cream (often cookies & cream) & a week's worth of cheese (their halloumi is obviously best in class, but we're also particularly fond of their ricotta, feta & smoked brinza). If you're a cheese or ice cream fiend & haven't visited yet, you need to get here! @zanyzeus
As Slovak living in NZ I was excited to find your bryndza. Absolutely delicious. I made bryndza spread this time around but already planning making bryndza potato gnocchi 😋
Spread: bryndza, butter, finally chopped red onion, red paprika..chives or parsley as garnish.
Love everything about this place! Food! Coffee! Cheese! Icecream! Staff! Highly recommend. A few seating options. Seriously BEST Hutt cafe/Deli. Halloumi roll Sensational. Satay Chkn wrap- swoon. Groovy slice,very choc fudge like.Lemon Crumble- moorish. Thanks

Very good! Only complaint is they said i couldn't have my soft serve in a waffle cone (these were reserved for scoop ice creams). Don't really get the logic as I would have happily paid more!
Absolutely love Zany Zeus and hoping the store will reopen one day soon! Super delicious ice cream, yoghurt, cheese, milkshakes and more! We still get our dairy products from one of their stockists buy I can confirm, the big queues of people you would see when driving past were for a reason!
Great place for fresh and organic milk produce. Also ice cream, cakes, coffe and more. Really good quality. Small shop with a lot to offer.
