The food is soooo good and inexpensive. We had 12 dishes and it only cost $33 each person. Every dish is delicious. Amazing custard tart! We all walked out happily and very full

Wow a hidden treasure!!! By chance as we were travelling around looking for a place to have a very late lunch. We got into the restaurant half an hour before closing time. That's all we needed... The service was quick and efficient, the remaining Yum Cha plates were still nice and hot, and delicious. My favourites were the Beef Tendons, Steamed Rice Rolls, and the Turnip Cake...oh and the Rice/meat wrapped in a leaf. Very happy with the reasonable prices too, will definitely come back with the family. This experience took me back to having Yum Cha in Hong Kong, and in China. The hustle, and flow, the smells, the people, the food, the chatter, and atmosphere...an awesome experience, Thank you 🙃

Took my family for Yum Char here and the food was really good for Wellington standards. Their Tsui Mai (steamed pork dumplings) are really good. They came out steaming hot which is the best way to eat them. A lot of restaurants don't steam theirs hot enough. Their Spring Rolls, deep fried squid, beef tendons, tripe and chicken feet were all really good too.

This is my local Yum Cha restaurant. The food here is delicious and prepared perfectly. Tea is served hot and topped up often. It can be quite busy on weekends, so booking ahead is recommended. During the week, it's a little quieter and you can order all of your favourite dishes directly from the menu. The staff are friendly and, at times - hilarious. During one visit I was gently scolded by a waitress who thought I'd ordered too much food, and that I wouldn't eat it all. Lol! Challenge accepted! :-D The decor and sometimes quirky service aren't to everyone's liking - but I love this place, and often recommend it to friends and family who enjoy Yum Cha.

Recently stayed here for work, for the price it's actually really good. Tv , comfy bed , good sized rooms with view. Shower was hard not to flood the floor but there is a floor drain so that was good. The hospitality was incredible. Such happy fun people. Easy to ask what ever is need and easy going. Really enjoyed the stay 🙂

Delicious Yum Cha, not a huge menu but more than enough to satisfy a lunchtime appetite, one highly recommended dish is the Ginger Cake, sweet, soft, gooey, deliciously Gingery and couldn't get my fill of it, another big plus was the Sticky Rice, was to die for. You want a tasty lunch then the Ridiford Hotel and Restaurant Yum Cha is the place for you. $$
