Fantastic café, my favourite for wonderful french inspired food, a beautiful setting both inside and out in the garden, and wonderful service. I recommend the gougere cheese muffins, absolutely heavenly as a light brunch. My friend had a couple of the toasted sandwiches and said they were delicious - there's a good range of menu or counter food. Lovely little play area for the kids too.

I loved the food and the setting. The service was a bit average, but only because the staff member was young so it’s not so much her fault, just inexperience. I could also see the chef swearing at her and he looked really mad. That was a bit cringe to be honest. I just notice a lot, I don’t think all the customers would notice that. I took a star off because of these two things but was so impressed with the quality of the meal and I could tell the chef cared a lot about his product. That’s also why he was mad, because the staff member was not delivering good service to his standard. I will be back. The vege burgers were insane!!

Quaint lovely food, built during the second world War by conscientious objectors as a commune, still true to the style this cafe serves local and organic, gluten free. Vegetarian and vegan food staff very pleasant and helpful. Pretty busy at lunch time with outdoor seating in the sun or inside if you prefer. An amazing garden setting with massive collection of cacti of all different shapes and sizes to wonder at. Great for late morning or afternoon in the sun

Amazing food, good ambience, welcome service- the seafood chowder was one of the best i have ever eaten, full of seafood. Beef brisket and pork belly was pretty good as well. Nice gardens to walk around in and a variety of different seating! What a place
