Good vibes with the duke box and pool tables. Meals are great value and tasty! If your a senior you can get a special for $15. Very friendly staff and clean bathrooms

We dined in then got takeaways the following night. Meals were decent enough and had an adequate selection. Enjoyed dining outside (and away from the loud jukebox) and also had a kids play area. The fish & chip takeaways were also good, however the burger wasn’t that nice.

Delicious battered scallops & fish and chips - we got ours to takeaway to the beach but they have outdoor area friendly staff and reasonable pricing

Delish fish n kumara chips take away with watties tomato sauce. Mahia is a beautiful spot, pokeys and nice vibes in the bar. Perfect place to get Kai after a day surfing. I want to go back 🌅

Traveled to Mahia for lunch on a cool Sunday excellent food with large servings great service. As the temperature was a bit low though the only thing missing was some heating other wise top notch will definitely be returning to try other meals

Best place for food in Mahia I must say. Not just because it's the only place btw. At Sunset Point Tavern you can expect a warm welcome from the friendly staff, accompanied by a wide variety of food and drinks for the whole family
