We really like this place. The atmosphere is great and very unique as they turned a old church into a pub.
The drink choices are good and the food very tasty. We had several options. The chips are crispy (very important).

Had a fantastic family night on a Friday after the Doubtful Sounds trip. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Food was good and I recommend the battered cod. Batter was just right, nice and light. Superb location and building. Recommend booking a table upstairs for dinner.
The Chips. The chips! They know what they doing frying those to crunchy perfection with fluffy insides.
Enjoyed the nook of 2 couches for dinner, food came fast, the cod was delisio. Beautiful sunset view.

What a beaut find! Staying a couple of nights at the Possum Lodge and popped up for a drink and dinner. Vibrant little locals joint with lovely staff and delicious local pub grub. We recommend sitting in the cute little arm chair nook - complete with blankets so you can really settle in!
Very unique place. Wonderful service food plated great. Great selection of beverages. Steak burger had too much sauce on it,overpowering the star of the meal. Wife's meal was good. Fries very good. What a find. Looks to be the best place to stop for a feed in Manapouri. Owned by a lovely local partner, lots of in house made restaurant quality food. Great portions. Cheap prices. Got the seafood chowder which had chucks of seafood (including scallop!) in it. The cod burger light and fluffy.

Great little place. our meals were delicious and came very promptly! The old church makes for a great, unique atmosphere! And for such a remote location the prices were very reasonable.
A calming service🙃, nice drinks, and food combined with a pleasant atmosphere inside as well as outside (to the lake and mountains🤩).

Best seafood chowder I have had in fiordland. Rich in flavor, lots of seafood with a side of bread. Just the right amount to feel content. Will diffinitly be back for another bowl. The burger and chips were very filling, chips crispy and hot, the burger had lots of fresh filling and very tasty. P
Excellent Service. Food was great and reasonably priced. Was a great stop for lunch with the kids. Love the mini puppy, so cute.
The proprietor's of church have managed to create a pub style establishment, that makes you feel comfortable, warm, entertained and completely satisfied. The food and service were both warm and tender.

quite busy, food and drinks available, with both indoor and outdoor seating, it is in an old church do great atmosphere. Had pumpkin/peanut butter soup. absolutely yummy, with toasted Ciabatta, also verygood.
Staff were amazing, food menu was decent. Decent crowd but seemed to empty by 20:30.
