Awesome stay at Awastone!! Thanks to all amazing staff! Morgan, Matt, Cesar (rafting guide) and the Connor (the driver) are very professional and helpful. We really enjoyed and had lots of fun with them at the beautiful Grand Canyon of Rangitikei!!! Scenic road  you advised was fantastic! Thank you!
Fabulous hosts, great staff who are totally up for making your stay the best it can be. Nice clean (and hot!) showers. Campsites with great views. Connor really looked after us out on the rapids and made the whole morning an enjoyable experience.
This was the best campsite we had in North Island. Toilets were pristine and warm (warming lights) and had extra chairs and shelves for us to put our clothes and toiletries. The view from the campsite is beautiful and so soothing with the sounds of the river rushing. My girls loved to play along the
A really great location. Facilities a little worn, but suitable for the low price. $22 for a double bourbon and coke though.
Amazing campsite. Bring some firewood from the town and have an evening campfire right on the river edge. Plenty of driftwood. PEACE and Tranquility here!
A lovely situated place. We had our autocamper direct at the river. Great!! The toilets and bath facilities. Are ok. Haven’t used the kitchen. The Cafe is great, very friendly personal.

The absolute best place ever. Paradise on earth! Peace and tranquility in it's most natural state. The Tui Flight room where I stayed for the 2nd time, Jan & March, wow, surrounded by natives, with a view of the white papa clifts and the sound of the Rangitikei river, what more could you want
