Excellent and varied wine list specialising in NZ wines. The bar has a lovely interior and a log burner, nicely lit and always good background music. Definitely worth a visit if you love wine. The pizzas are great too.
We chose here to meet for our monthly book club. It was packed on a Wednesday night, but we managed to find a cosy corner to chat. It's pretty pricey.. but so are most places these days.
Only 2 staff on which meant we had to wait 45 minutes for pizza.

We had a little reunion with the Mahana crew (formerly Woollaston Estates Winery) there on a Sunday afternoon. It is such a casual, warm, and welcoming atmosphere with great pizza and, of course, wonderful wines, beers, and even some spirits to try.

The service was great. The wine list and their knowledge of the wine ment I only ever was drinking something I really enjoyed. The tasting trees are a must for anyone visiting. Looking forward to returning next time already.

Fine wine and good pizza. What more could you want. We sat outside in the sun. This is what holidays are all about.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They ensured we were warm in the outdoor seating. I would have loved to see dairy free or vegan options identified on the menu.
A world class experience. Meet the wine maker, have a pizza, drink world class wine and the best thing is you can get Fish n' Chips from the Smokehouse and dine in with a glass of Vino! Classy times!
Very friendly small wine bar. Somewhat odd mix of food, but the platters (meat and cheese for us) were more than reasonable (even if the portions weren't generous). Obviously, a very good choice of wines. Popular spot. Would come back.

Shared a pizza outside on a hot day with a bottle of the Rimu Grove Pinot Noir 2014. Place is better than some of the neighboring establishments and pizza was OK. Probably the best of the waterfront establishments around Mapua Wharf area.
Unexpected to get tasty wood fired pizza and a nice selection of craft beer on tap as well. Super friendly service on top, this place felt like great discovery for us. We'll be back!
Really awesome pizza, enjoyed Hop Federation beers brewed locally in Riwaka.
Enjoyed a glass of wine on site, and bought a bottle for the road. Awesome selection of wines - many are local.
