The sandwiches pies chicken chips are tasty and fresh, also reasonably priced... not flashy but tasty... the staff are friendly cheerful.

The steak pies are top notch. Meaty and pastry good as well. The seafood salad at $7.90 is very good value for money.
Have come here a few times, each time been thoroughly impressed with the quality, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I bought a cinnamon donut today which was one of the best I’ve ever had - finished it and went back inside to buy another! Highly recommend
Big fresh sandwiches and rolls, great choice of savoury and sweet counter food.
Pies are great, mince pies have lots of thick gravy and mince, steak pies have lots of thick gravy and big chunks of tender beef.

Theres lots of places to eat in Masterton, but we almost always go here when we go over the hill, and look forward to it.
I always find cheerful greetings. Whether someone is well dressed or sparsely dressed if one looks good or not so good, if a lot is bought or not so much they are all pleadantly catered for. I appreciate that. Not so affluent can afford their food.
The best lime milkshake I’ve ever had anywhere ever! Icy cold, limey & just yum. My son and I love coming here for an afternoon treat. The ladies here are so friendly also.
