Great food (including very much appreciated vegan options), comfy seating, and wonderful photos on the walls of a times long gone. The renovations have made such a difference to the place, and the clean and sparkling new bathrooms are very much appreciated! πŸ‘Œ

Our local museum cafe is a lovely place for an informal lunch. Nicely refurbished, clean, great service and reasonably priced tasty food. πŸ‘

Two visits one lunch, one coffee/muffin. First lunch visit very busy with tour buses and a car rally. They coped well and the food is simple but wholesome. Great variety of cabinet food, sandwiches and pies plus blackboard specials. $12.50 egg/bacon/toast breakfasts. Impressed by the high performance and friendliness of staff. Today's muffin though a bit dry and lifeless.

Great coffee. I've been working in the area lately over the past 3 weeks. I normally take my own lunch when I'm out on the road, so have not yet tried the delicious looking food in the cabinets. That said, what a do try on every occasion is the coffee. I drink a lot of coffee from a lot of places. I even have my own $$$$ machine I use every morning at home. Hands down the best coffee I've had while in the area. I'd even push that to the greater area. If it's coffee you're wanting, this is the place for it.

Popped in here yesterday for a quick bite to eat before taking a funeral..... and had... THE BEST PIE EVER EVER EVER!!!! The pastry was light and crispy and crunchy and delicious. Yum!!!!! Had a really good coffee too. The staff were super friendly and we got our coffee quickly even though they were very busy, so that was great. My only disappointment was... they weren't open by the time the funeral was over and we'd finished packing up so.... We're going back today for a "proper" lunch lol!!! (Might have to have another pie too. Crikey, there goes the diet!)

Super accomodating friendly staff. Delicious food made on site (even the falafel was their own recipe). Generous portions of well made, balanced food. Staff were very aware of different dietary requirements and had a lovely selection. We arrived later in the day and were greeted with a warm welcome. As we finished another couple arrived and the staff made sure they were looked after, despite having started to close down for the day.

Lovely cafe under new management. Staff were amazing and as soon as we arrived saw we had dogs and promptly brought out water. Spoilt for choice on where to sit outside Coffee was good and strong but the food was the star of the show. Super filling and healthy to boot and won't break your wallet Past reviews seem to be before new management took over and this almost put me off visiting but going there today, I've decided I will visit atleast weekly or fortnightly. BTW, all the pies are home made and Wow!

Freshly made rhubarb and custard muffin, still warm, and a well made coffee... lush! Rad way to start the day. The cafe views and set up were awesome too.

Went there on Friday for a b/day lunch, with a group of about 16 people. The food was nice, and everyone at the table seemed to enjoy themselves. Some of the group (like me) ordered from the menu, while the others had food from the cabinet. Nice lunch.
