Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I showed up when they were having a special karaoke night with some special menu options that are prepared on demand. They still let me order off a regular menu though, because I was a bit overwhelmed by the options to choose from. Still very cool though!

Food was delicious, we had pork dumpling soup and pork hamonado - both very yummy. The pork hamonado was rich and came with peanut slaw. Prawn dumplings weren't to my taste. Ube cake slice was huge and very soft and tasty. Would definitely go again when passing through.
If you want to do karaoke while everyone else is finishing their meals, this is the place to be! Chicken inasal tasted just like it does back home. And don't leave without having dessert. ;)

What a gem in Matamata! We were a group of 4 adults 2 kids from Auckland. Best pork meals we have had ! Service was friendly, food came on quick. They even refunded me for overcharging me. The Baos and dumplings are also Devine! An absolute must visit!

Lovely food and lovely owner. We went out of our way and missed lunch so we could do the food justice. Dumplings and pork hock were lovely. Deep fried cauliflower best I have ever had. Would be great if the mains were served with something that went with them better than coleslaw and chips. The food

We have the beef with extra stir fry, steamed rice and the fries with sour cream. Was so Delius we were very glad to have found it. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend them.
