Māori owned and run, whanau business. Lovely atmosphere, beautifully decorated, historic building. Great coffee, mean pies! licenced and lots of food options, breakfast and dinner.

Great coffee ☕ Great breaky too! Nice people with a friendly greeting from everyone, even the locals! Very hearty, must go back to try something I'm very curious about trying on the menu. Generous portion with my poached eggs on toast, I got three! Partner loved his big breaky. Also, I love it when I get a nice soy latte and even better when your cappuccino has the right consistency of milk, coffee & a good thick froth. Yum!

Amazing menu food served here. Highly recommend the pork belly burger served with chips. The fish n chips were amazing so. Dory fresh from the sea. Yummy

Highly recommended - excellent burgers & I mean excellent - helping friend move & only found Mamaz Eatz with 3 night left of the shift but eat there the last 3 nights. Had a different burger each night & it would be hard to decide which one to have again OR keep making my way through the whole menu! If your on State 1 & need a great feed turn off on 12 & head to Mamaz Eatz in Maungaturoto!!
