Great little spot for a meal, my 3 companions really loved their meals (lamb shank + steak). I had the vegetarian burger, definitely had an issue with it being over cooked and dry, however I let the manager Linda know and she dealt with it extremely professionally and well, definitely appreciate man

Had a lovely meal last night that consisted of, garlic bread, succulent pork belly, and an ice cream sundae. The staff were wonderful, who gave great service which complimented the awesome experience. If you want to end a day of exploring this wonderful area of New Zealand, then this is the evening
Had dinner here last night. Great choice of food an the menu and healthy portions. Service was excellent - friendly and helpful. And the calamari, in the words of our 7 year old, “was perfection”. Really, the best calamari I have had in a long time. So good in fact, that we had 2 plates. Great with

Fantastic family dinner had - the restaurant was busy but coped seamlessly with our large group, the food came out in a timely manner, the kids were entertained , no surcharge, food was delicious and the highlight was the staff ! Linda you’re a true asset to the restaurant!
It’s a great little place always busy it’s the first time that we’ve been there we part of the feed show with hosts Ronnie and Mon food fantastic also staff too.

I have never had such good steak, cooked so perfectly. I’m not a gravy person, but the gravy in the beef was delicious, and the egg on the side satisfied all the differing tastes in eggs my family has.

We didn’t book, so was lucky to get the little nook in the corner around 5pm. Then they did get busy, but the main manager was efficient, she did kinda fly off mid service to our table, overall it was pretty good and we enjoyed the very very fast meal!
