The food was great there was lots of choice. The kids meal box was great with a many different items and a plain sandwich for the fussy little ones.. The best Egg Benedict ever, eggs cooked to perfection and the bacon was so lovely.
Stopped in for a late afternoon coffee. It was almost closing time but no hassle. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat outside at the little tables enjoying the warm afternoon while sipping our coffee. Didn't try the food but the stuff in the cabinet was enticing. Wish I still had the metabolism I had when I was a teen! Oh well I enjoyed the coffee!

Very nice cafe with nice friendly and homely atmosphere. Good variety of food with reasonable pricing, highly recommend the gourmet cheese rolls! The kids really liked the options available on kids menu and having a play in the play room. Definitely worth a visit

Nice cafe with plenty of seating. I had a mince and cheese pie which was very nice and their chai latte's were also very good. I would recommend this cafe for anyone passing by looking for somewhere to stop and get a drink or bite to eat. The staff were also friendly which is always a bonus.

Friendly staff, amazing food quality. The waffles are crunchy and smooth at the same time and the tea is also amazing. I'd recommend going here for lunch with your friends or family.
I ordered a steak n cheese pie, my wife, two mini savouries.
Unfortunately, my wife tried my pie and then ate most of it. 😅
We will be back for two steak n cheese next time. 👍
Aurora is one of the best cafè in the Otago region. It has a homely atmosphere and very friendly staff willing to help.
It has a menu that caters for all.
Great service. Good food. Ok atmosphere. They were very friendly and split a main onto two plates for our kids which was great. We had big breakfasts, fantastic except for the bread which was tough and seemed like dollar loaf stuff. Top notch hot choc and reasonable coffee. There wasn't any music on so we were serenaded by the hum of the fridges. Didn't seem to have a copy of the paper.
