Their sweet pastry are very nice. Especially anything with cream. I’ve never tried anything else I’m only here for all the sweet pastry to satisfy my sweet tooth! Highly recommended after a meal :)!

I still remember I had breakfast here on my first day in Auckland. And I’m very glad to see that the original owners (from Philippine or Thai?) still keep this place over nearly ten years.
It’s not a cheap bakery, it has not been renovated over past ten years, it’s not as fancy as Amano, and obviously the Asian staff don’t know the western meaning of service. But the did nothing bad over these years.
I’ve been here hundreds of times. Personally I like their toasted sandwiches, hotdog series, fried chicken thigh and drumsticks, fried kabab, spring roll and dim sum. I don’t know about their dinner breads, though not looks attractive as bakery delights. Their coffees are also cheap and tasty.
I moved away from mt. Eden long years ago, but when I drive along mt. Eden road in the morning or lunchtime, I usually stop here for a snack or pie to fuel me up, also to remind myself of those old days. Unfortunately, the owners have never remembered who I am over past years, but my loyalty to this place continues still.
