I bought six different cakes/desserts for a friend's gathering and I'm very impressed with everything. The staff was incredibly friendly, I didn't eat in at the cafe but it looked clean and minimalistic. Pandan Swiss Roll Cake (forgot the full name) - not my personal favourite, but the pandan and coconut flavours really came through. I felt the cake's texture was dry but moistened with syrup, and the cream was similar to mock cream. Pandan Lamington - Much better texture compared to the Pandan Swiss Roll; light, fluffy and not dry at all. The coconut compliments the pandan flavour very well and instead of cream inside, there was pandan flavoured jelly between the cake layers, which was a pleasant surprise and was a great change of texture. Just sweet enough and not sickly. I could probably eat 10 of these by myself. Hojicha and Mango Swiss Roll Cake - Loved this one, the hojicha was present and the cake was moist. The sweetness of the mango balanced well with the slight bitterness of the hojicha. Early Grey Choux - The Choux pastry was crumbly and had a nice, light sweetness to it that didn't overpower the Earl Grey cream. The tea flavour was not overly strong, subtle but clearly recognizable. Simple but tasty. Raspberry and Passion fruit Basque Cheesecake - Wonderful raspberry flavoured cheesecake, it reminded me of berry yoghurt. The passion fruit layer was minimal, which I wished there was more of. The base was similar to biscoff cookies, and was quite thick, too. The texture was nice and dense which I loved. Matcha and Yuzu Basque Cheesecake - Probably my favourite out of the ones I got (but I'm partial towards matcha), texture was the same as the cake mentioned above. Strong matcha flavour balanced well with the tanginess and sweetness of the yuzu. Again, I wished there was more of the secondary flavour throughout the cake. Overall I loved everything from Folds. I will definitely be returning for more Asian inspired treats. Everything was flavoured just right and suits the Asian palette for not being overly sweet. Would love to try their high tea some time, too! I'll be recommending this place to all my friends and anyone who is looking for a nice cafe spot or any high quality desserts.

This bakery shop serves really delicious cakes and pastries. They sure know how to make their food look good. The staff is friendly, and the space has a warm and cozy vibe. I tried their durian rolls which were tasty. The cream was super delicious, and the durian sauce was amazing. The roll itself was slightly hard and didn't melt as easily as I hoped, which might mean it wasn't freshly made. But all in all, it was a nice treat. The matcha, however, was just okay in my opinion. Worth mentioning, the cakes are a bit pricey, all above $10 per piece.

This is where you can find Asian flavour patisseries!! The Kaya croissant was massive and super rich, definitely recommend sharing this. The cakes are also quite huge and yum ! The taro cake is vegan 🌱 They got a cute space to dine in as well, great place for a catch up with friends:)

Very special cake shop with a range of cakes and pasteries of unique South East Asian flavours! Cakes there were not very sweet and was very flavourful of pandan and coconut. We also got a hot tea tarik which was heated up with the milk frother on the espresso machine so it came out nice and frothy, definitely very comforting on a rainy day. The staff were very friendly and show a lot pride and enthusiasim in their products and serving their customers. Located on the main road on Dominion Road (a few doors down from Barilla Dumplings) the cafe is exceptionally clean and bright. Looking forward to many more wonderful creative treats!

Basically, I love this place. I am discovering matcha oat milk lattes and my friend who is a coffee afficianado (and I'm talking a real afficiando) says that the coffee here is pretty decent, which is high praise

Folds Patisserie have mastered the art of incorporating asian flavours into their desserts and savoury treats. I go here almost every week and ALWAYS get tickets whenever they have a high tea. These photos are from their collaboration high tea with Perrier. I highly recommend Folds! You can stop for a snack at their cafe, or order cakes/treats for special occasions. My faves are the nasi lemak tart (special item that only makes an appearance when they have a high tea!), the rose lychee Swiss roll, and the beef rendang danish.

I heard about this place and I wasn't disappointed, it was an epic patisserie café experience. The photos don't do it justice, I highly recommend trying this out. Genuinely delicious tasting dessert. I'll try some more next time. Coffee was really good too!

YUM this is my second time getting their pastries and it’s just so good every time. We got the kaya croissant, cendol and lychee rose swiss roll this time. The kaya croissant is MASSIVE, the pandan kaya itself is so fragrant and pairs well with the rich coconut filling inside. The cendol swiss roll is exactly like the dessert, you can taste the gula melaka in it as well, I’m so glad there’s no red bean tho hahaha. The lychee rose swiss roll is my favourite so far, there are pieces of lychee in the cream and it tastes like bandung 🤤 I would eat the cream by itself if it was an option. I got two to share with my family but now i don’t want to. everything was not too sweet and it’s so comforting to know I can still find Malaysian flavours in NZ 💗💗💗💗
