Enjoyed my latte. Quick and friendly service. The latte was piping hot! Like really really hot, so hot I had to keep switching hands while walking with my coffee.
Good healthy clean food. Recommended to us by crossfit friends. Meals are good fats and good portions of lean proteins..Very nice food and service.
Favourite are the protein balls.
First time here at Lunn Ave Columbus , I ordered a blueberry almond muffin and coffee. The muffin was definitely the best muffin I have had from all the Columbus cafe, and the coffee was great as well!
Columbus Coffee Mt Wellington has been our go to cafe Saturday and Sundays. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Coffee is always excellent and the food is good. Chef often tries new items and then personally get feedback from clients. They accommodate special requests too. I always swap bacon for mushrooms.
Think we have been regulars for three years plus. Even get Christmas cards each year. They are a great team.
Columbus on Lunn Ave has been my Saturday regular for almost a year now and every single visit has been a delight! The menu is wonderful, the coffee divine, the location (embedded in the Mitre 10 garden centre) is perfect and the staff are simply stunning! Thanks for all your hospitality :)

Had walked into this cafe inside mitre 10 not knowing it was a Columbus coffee. Looking for a lunch and carbo load before a day of spring cleaning.
Inside I find a little too dark and cold so we always sit outside the shutters along side the garden centre plants.
The food counter is well stocked with an interesting selection of reheatable foods (just add salad and condiment). I say interesting cos I couldn't even pronounce some of the food names.
Service I wouldn't regard as too flash. Had to return my tall standing bacon and egg pie asbit was still cold in the middle. When returned still not much hotter in fact cold other than the edges. Service counter girl also didnt chance the omelette from bacon to ham when I said to her getting bacon and egg pie so will get ham not bacon in the omelette.
In brief- pie was just ok quite edible but expensive $9.50 and not profoundly good for a steep price. 2.5/5 for being served cold and not reheated.
Omelette not what was ordered but really herb-y flavoured loads of bacon (instead of ham) served well and looked like a pizza 4/5
The final dish I can't pronounce of italian extraction perhaps! ! Was also herb-y but other than being expensive, I can't remember much. 3/5

This place is known for producing best coffee. A perfect blend of taste, body,aroma and presentation. Good people and nice service..Perfect for coffee lovers. A great settling environment.
Took my mother there today for lunch, she needs a gluten free diet. She had an excellent steak sandwich on gluten free bread and took home some gluten free baking as well.
The staff were very friendly, the outlook over the flowers was delightful and the service excellent. I never thought I would be taking my mother to a hardware store for lunch but I'm glad that I did and will return. No parking problems and if anyone had a disability this must be one of the easiest access restaurants in Auckland.

Situated so you look out into the garden centre. Much better than the standard "built-in" cafe that you normally encounter - probably due to the fact that it is a franchised outlet so has to conform to some strict standards.
Coffee was great, food was great, their high-chair wasn't very good though.
The staff were very nice. We ordered the Filo Chicken and Mochacino Oaty. The food was nice enough, obviously the filo wrap was made off site however the side salad was dressed on site and quite nice.
The Columbus App is a bit of a headache to setup, we ended up getting a loyalty card and tried transferring it to the app but it generated its own card number so we lost all our rewards for the visit. You are better off sorting out your Columbus app before you get to the cafe and enjoy free hot beverage with a meal and buy one get one free for signup.
Really enjoyed our cafe experience yesterday. Cabinet food has a fine selection and don't miss the macadamia biscuits in the jar! Coffee and hot choc delicious. Our table was sun drenched hence photo shadows. A periodic loud bang, possibly microwave door or side doors is rather un-nerving.
The recently refurbished Columbus Cafe is fantastic and such a great option for everyone. Something for everyone. Gluten free options are delicious.
Food is always fresh, hot, good portions and delicious.

It's hidden within Mitre 10. Great kind service. I would recommend for family with kids as there is playground in front of shop and boxes with toys inside coffee shop. They have breakfast and lunch menu with good amount of choices. Our meals tasted great. Definitely recommend and come again even if you don't go shopping for Mitre 10.
Went to look at the kitchen displays at Bunning's and decided to have lunch at the Columbus Coffee.
Ordered the sweetcorn pancakes and a flat white with my friend.
We were both pleased with our coffee and meal.
I hadn’t been to this Columbus for years, and was pleasantly surprised. Great coffee and excellent coffee. Had the supreme omelette which was interesting. I cook a lot of omelettes and used to golden brown finish on the underside. This one had no colour, but the flavour was bang on. Very enjoyable.

Very nice atmosphere being right next to the Mitre 10's garden section. Also has a place for children. Friendly and quick service. I ordered for a latte but got a flat white. Didn't complain about this, but still a wee bit disappointed.
I come to this place for afternoon tea every week, and I really like the environment here.

Absolutely beautiful food. Husband says they are the best he has ever had. My summer bowl salad exceeded all expectations.
Nice staff and good coffee and the desserts in the cabinet are tasty. It's right by the garden centre so the view is green and close to the kids playground. They let me take my drink and food to the playground so I could have that while my son played.

We had the brioche French toast and it was nice. The staff are very young and still learning but most were friendly and accommodating. Our drinks took quite a while and we didn't know there was a water fountain until we saw another customer using it. Perhaps if the staff let us know the wait would have felt shorter... all in all 4/5
I was shopping in the mitre 10 on lunn ave with my daughter and she wanted something to eat so we went to the Columbus cafe in the mitre 10 and had a snack the service was great the food came fast and it was a nice atmosphere sitting outside looking at the garden centre. What great way to chill shop
Just had the most amazing Butter Chicken pie at this store today.
The cafe has lots of space, clean, and the staff were great as well. Lindie was friendly, approachable and made the whole experience enjoyable.
A place I would happily return.
