Overall an amazing experience. We went at around 7am for a snack and drinks. So early in the morning the atmosphere was still great all the staff were lovely and cheerful a great way to start the day. I mentioned how I like my mochas extra chocolatey and the happily made it to suit me. 10/10 experience suited to all ages and groups highly recommend this cafe.

Always our go to when in Napier. This time went for a light meal and still delivered on taste. I had cheese scone... Light fluffy and with two butters!! A nice change when most other places I have to ask for an extra butter. My Americano came with a separate jug of hot water... Brilliant.! Husband had quiche from cabinet and it didn't disappoint my hungry bloke. Picture says it all. Highly recommend

First time trying black pudding and it certainly didn't disappoint. Possibly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time

I googled 'best porridge in Napier's was not dissapointed. Theirs no bigger compliment to then to leave a completely empty bowl and tell the lads to not change the recipe. 10/10 on porridge it's simple, it's accurate theirs no fancy toppings with dark chocolate and 20 kinds of seeds. Also amazing coffee, I was a bit confused by the sparkling water but then I tried it as a chaser to the coffee and it seemed to clear the creaminess that coffee normally leaves in the mouth so it wasn't overpowering. Easy to find, nice welcoming atmosphere very rarely am I genuinely trying to hold myself back from destroying the entire plate in five minutes.

One of the best cafe's ever. The staff, although laid back cool and super friendly, are so very very efficient. The food (only had breakfast 3 days/times) was brilliant!! Excellent food, well cooked and presented. Just loved the place.

We had a delicious and filling breakfast here. Filtered water (cold, still or sparkling) brought to our table. The bacon and eggs were amazing with an added side of grilled tomato. Porridge with peaches (sadly no plumbs) with brown sugar and cream was also delicious and filling. Coffees were divine (normal and almond ) and the correct temperature for comfortable drinking.

Very nice café, super friendly staff, good food and great coffee. A sixth star for being dog friendly inside and out. Pirate and his humans say thank you very much, we look forward to coming back.

Amazing food, I had the tender squid salad and it was unreal! My friends had the ceasar salad and also commented on how good it was. I have previously had the fettuccine and also rate that very highly! Plenty of cabinet food to choose from if you aren't feeling like a big meal. Coffee was great, and if you're feeling like something a bit stronger they also serve alcohol! Too busy enjoying my food to take pictures, sorry!

Cafe was super packed while visited on Saturday but quality of food maintained. Served by friendly cashier at the counter and service was quick despite the crowd. Plenty of choices on both menu and cabinet food. My CLT came with large portion and tasted great!

Good food and great service. Interior is very nice but i decided to sit outside on a sunny day sipping cappuccino which by the way is also quite aromatic as usual. Ordered sort of a big breakfast set with reasonable pricing and good presentation.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at the Ajuna Eatery and was delighted to find a menu that is unique and does not disappoint. Great meal options that show a lot of thought and offering something a little different. Services is out standing, decor is original and attractive and very centrally located. You will not be disappointed, a must when you visit Napier.

Bloody good breakfast here. Smashed avo was brilliant with excellent coffee to boot. Fairly long wait but a very busy Sunday morning and the food was worth it.

PREMIUM QUALITY BREAKFAST Atmosphere: this eatery is in the heart of Napier CBD and surrounded by the Art Deco buildings. The eatery itself has a lovely, unique style/decor with teal walls and some stained glass. Food: I had an avo smash and it was the best one I’ve had to date. Generous avo, delicately poached egg, healthy tomato pieces and a smear of lemon infused sauce laced across the front of the plate. I also enjoyed the fancy hash brown. Sublime. Service: it felt like it took about 30 seconds for my coffee and 3 minutes for my avo smash. Excellent. I have found coffee in New Zealand generally okay, but this coffee was particularly good. It had a bit of an exotic flavour. Other: chairs and tables are nice, round tables are maybe a bit small for four people. I came early in the morning on a weekday in summer and really enjoyed the lighting the sun providing. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
