Went for breakfast today and was not disappointed. Coffee was delicious, food was great, staff were friendly and super accommodating with the kids. Best menu I've seen in a long time safe to say it will be our regular now.

Popped in for a coffee with my wife and we got the best coffee in Napier. By the look of the breakfasts we will have to come back next time we aren't Napier too. Great friendly service too. Thank you for a lovely time.

This is the biggest and best surprise I've found in Ahuriri village. Beautiful Maori cuisine highly highly recommend. I had the pork bones soup *( mind blown) can't wait to try the other highlights on the menu.

Yes, another 5 stars, in my opinion. The wife and I went here on Saturday, 6th May. We both had the BLT with homemade chips. And boy, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were happy and friendly. The food was amazing. The menu was full of a great number of dishes that were going to go back a few times to try it all. It's a must try cafe. We will be back.

Stayed in Napier for the night and was hungry for Eggs Benedict. Not knowing the area I googled Cafes and MK Cafe came up.. I am so glad it did because just YUM!! The bacon was delicious, eggs rich and perfectly cooked. My Mochaccino was perfect and the staff are lovely and friendly.. Have told my family in Napier about this place and they are keen to call in. I'm definitely revisiting!

MK Cafe is a local favorite, probably the best kept secret of Ahuriri. They have a great selection for breakfast/brunch but I always go back for their creamy mushrooms and homemade herb rosti. Staff are friendly, great service. They've also recently expanded their seating too. Great place, good food and not ridiculously overpriced like the other places along the water front.

Hands down my favourite roast in New Zealand! I've tried the lamb, beef and pork. The photo provided is the large pork with extra meat, I had to split one portion into two plates! Perfect food for a really good price, the best option for a takeaway if you don't fancy something heavy and greasy.

Went here on Saturday 6 May with my husband for lunch πŸ˜‹ . Both my husband and myself had the BLT with homemade fries. WOW we both were very happy with our meal . Now I'm no expert in Coffee but I do enjoy a good cappuccino well that is exactly what I got very yummy πŸ˜‹. Will certainly be going back. Keep it up. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thursday Night Roast 4-7pm (unless they sell out) is a must, totally recommend and will be back. I had the Roast Lamb Shank which the meat melted off the bone (beef an pork were also options). I had a regular size for $19.90 (you can upsize for $22.90). Seems to be a real local gem.

Had the big breakfast , delicious well cook and presented great. Poached eggs spot on perfect for me.(Could not finish the plate due to being full . Every one at table of 10 had different dishes all very happy with. Lovely service . My almond cappuccino was one of the best I’ve had in years . Flavourful. Overall chef did a great job pumping out the dishes in a timely manner. Look forward to visiting again next time we in town.

Worth a stop for lunch. Offering yummy cabinet food, gf and vegan included as well as a blackboard menu. Food is delicious and always served with a smile, in the heart of Ahuriri. Free Internet too!!! I'll be back 😊

e dropped in this morning for breakfast. It was stormy and bucketing down. The Cafe looks humble but what they do is anything but! They have a huge breakfast menu with most of the usual options, but take it up a gear with some genuine Maaori kai (food) and rhe chef's own take on it. I grabbed a boil up pie, with genuine bacon bones. Pai rawe! Outstanding. My mate had the best lambs fry and bacon I have ever tasted (I sneaked some.from his plate), and I had the Big Bennie, which came.with a homemade hash cake of his own invention. He puts so much arohaa (love ) into his cooking, and obviously creates each serving with a wonderful intention. This has to be the best breakfast I have eaten in a long time. O, and not to forget the coffee. Simply perfect. Outstanding.
