Amazing burrito!! Photos don’t do it justice but the food is delicious. You get your money’s worth so absolutely no complaints. The decor is trendy and reminds of something you might see on the beach front of Cancun, clean setting, and just refreshing to go to.
I recently dined at Mexicali Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff always ready to accommodate any request.
my friend and I were attempting to find a yummy lunch spot while we were on holiday here and stumbled across this place. We were taken back by how great the food was but more importantly the service. During our meal one of the ladies came in to check on how our food was and we were re blown away by how lovely all the team were!!!
Recommend the americano taco salad. It was so good!
Keep in mind if you have a good spice tolerance to get the spice above what you think you can manage as they meals werent too spicy
My wife and I haven't been here for a while, so were pleasantly surprised by the service we received today from the man serving at the counter. We ordered a different Taco bowl meal each and both were presented well and were delicious to eat. Thank you team Mexicali.

Good customer service, good quality food, reasonable prices, clean, tidy and stylish, a good place to sit and do work on my laptop (but maybe play some quiet music from Mexico, or some jazz or something instead of dance-pop -- but no real complaints as it wasn't loud).
If I visit Napier and need somewhere to eat, drink and work, I'll come back again.

Polite and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. Salad was fresh and flavourful. Cooked food was hot and tasty. Good value overall. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Enjoyed our first meal here. Nice atmosphere. Good service. The fries with Mexicali seasoning and Chipotle crema were yummy and the burritos were tasty and filling. We tried the standard "mini" burrito and the "wet" burrito which comes with extra sauces and salad layered over the top. Looking forward to trying more on the menu.
I swung by for some food right before closing time, and I was blown away by the fact that you guys were still willing to whip up some deliciousness for me. That's some serious dedication right there!

Delicious Mexican fusion food at affordable prices came here for dinner. The chicken wings are delicious. Their Tacos are also extremely flavourful and tasty. Will definitely come back here

Great food here and it’s actually really nice to see that this franchise is not exactly the same as Auckland so you don’t feel like you a dealing with a chain. The food is very similar in quality and the experience is slightly different. I will definitely go back
