Very nice pizza there is definitely nothing else like their Detroit Style Pizzas anywhere else in the Hawkes Bay.
They are a very small team so I would recommend going off peak times as I'd imagine they will be swamped very easily. But when I went they weren't to busy and worth the trip from Hastings.
I definitely don't live local about 20minutes-30 drive. I don't regularly go to Taradale maybe 5 times a year and I always buy a pizza at Detroit. I love it, very delicious, homemade - ish and very good value for my money.

Nice gluten free base crunchy. Pulled pork pizza was tasty but could have had a bit more meat on it
