Macrocarpa Cafe - National Park Village - Photo album

It is a hidden gem. I wish I know it earlier, national park food are generally for tourists.. Macroarpa price is just like your local cafe price.. Great food and service too. Nothing too fancy, but just want to have a meal after a tired day. Awesome. Good thick shake too.
Loved the food, great amazing 'o' for Orsum service. We were nicely welcomed and upon leaving we got the best sendoff. Food is a Def 10 star from my partner & I. Thankyou for the great vibe
A good place for coffee and a snack, or even a full meal. The steak was a bit fatty but delicious. There are old pictures of the railway being built and a nice cozy area for kids to play.
Excellent food (including the must-try Dessert Pizza), excellent people and a lovely 😍 environment. We'll done.
Great lunch yesterday. Arrived quite late after walking the Taranaki Falls track. Excellent welcoming service. Freshly squeezed orange juice yum.

Food was amazing and very friendly service. Went back a second time just to get the coffee again.
Friendly shop / coffee. Good place where to eat something or buy some drink or snack and prepare an excursion.

Popped in on the drive north and my son had the smoked chicken pie. He was still talking about how good it was when we got to Auckland (bit annoying TBH) Lovely people too; quick with a joke and genuinely delighted to hear we loved the food.
I visited this cafe twice for breakfast during a weekend I spent at National park. The delicious food and rich portions, the welcoming staff and cosy atmosphere made our visits just perfect. The staff knows the area around National park very well and were very friendly giving us suggestions on where
Delicious pizza, awesome friendly and thoughtful service, will definitely be back! Edit - went back the next morning for coffee before we left - great, well made coffee (and I'm pretty picky on my coffee...), range of dairy free milk options available too.
Amazing breakfast friendly people and cozy.
We only stopped for a coffee here but it was really good coffee and they also provide a tourist information service. The couple running the place (Amy & hubby?) were very friendly and helpful. We asked for their help planning a walk and they gave excellent advice suggesting the circular Taranaki Fal
