Great spot, the only pub worth going to in Tahuna. Can get busy at times, but much better since they expanded the outside area. Like all Sprigs, they have great bike parking too Very handy and secure being in clear view within the outside area. Oh yea the beers good to, but that's a given 🍻
It was incredibly busy today. A hot sunny day may have caused this. Despite how busy it was the turnaround for food and drinks was incredibly quick.
The food was very tasty and the hard lemonade was excellent.

Friendly staff. Had a tasting paddle for their home brew... Not advertised well though. Just ask! Delicious food, generous helpings. Pictured here are mushroom chips, buttermilk chicken and pulled pork loaded fries. We got that for two big eaters but couldn't finish it. Totally recommend!
We came here because they allow dogs inside and on a winter night that sold it for us as we have a dog and are on holiday. We loved the raucus atmosphere of soccer guys still in their bright orange strips, a rugby crowd, guys in woolen caps and dress ups. Lots of casual, loud people . The food was

Had a great dinner here before leaving the South Island. We had some great dining out experiences, in the 2 weeks we spent in Sth Island, and this place didn't disappoint. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We had burgerof the day and a pint special, and the spicy shrimps and chicken strips crumbed
Very highly recommended. Service couldn't be better, even answered some questions we had on beers and the complex desert. They were very busy for a Tuesday and apologized for the delays which we barely noticed.
Phenomenal veggie burger! Definitely ordering again! And paired with outstanding selection of beers on tap... we may need a second round! Excellent service and lovely place to sit and chat. Love the Sprig!

We absolutely loved our time here. We had just arrived in Nelson on Holiday but not realizing that New Zealand has a national holiday that resulted in many restaurants and shops being closed during our time here. Sprig and Fern has an exceptional location.
Eager for a cold beer and some quick snack
Ever since I have moved to Nelson this has been my second home. Great atmosphere. Well priced full pints of quality beer. All the staff are warm and friendly! Food has never disappointed and they comfortably have the best quiz night in Nelson. Can't recommend this place enough

After arriving in NZ, this was our stop for our first meal and drink after arriving. Fantastic food and a large selection of real ales, the staff were great, warm and friendly and always happy to offer a small taster before buying the drink.

Visited twice once with my Girlfriend, we both enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine. The next day popping into a crowded after work Friday with our three kids and where able to be served drinks and chips, believe me the garlic chips a very garlicky. So we had a ball
