Friendly staff and good food. It's a claygo policy. A lot of birds flies around. Food are good and big serving, good for 2 to 3 people. They offer free water. Food ranges from 15 NZD to 25 NZD.
Awesome cafe. Family friendly. Wedges and shoestring fries are amazing. Kids playground to keep them occupied while parents dine in peace.

Very tastie, generous portions for lunch. They were very busy, but the staff were very composed and we got our order in no time at all with a very friendly smile.

Nice sheltered indoo outdoor seating in delightful restored village. Nice coffee and small but tasty selection of cabinet food, plus a menu. Founders entry is free fot Nelson and Tasman ratepayers.
Don’t walk, RUN to this cafe. Don’t like history? Close your eyes through the park to get there. For the love of GOD, order the creamy mushrooms. It is nothing short of a religious experience. Would have given ten stars if possible.

Look... If you want a quiet pub thats simple and genuine. You can't go wrong. Its just out of towm enough to have its own atmosphere of chill perfect for and afternoon of beer and long chats with good friends.

Recently hired the Cafe for a private party of about 30 people. Laney was wonderful to work with, couldnt fault the communication prior to the night. Staff Jade and Hayden were excellent on the night, extremely accomodating. Venue cosy, food great. Thank you Founders Cafe. Would highly recommend.
