Various options for various demand. Clean and nice place, seating outside is many and quite cool. Vegetarian/vegan/gf guests could be looked after well. Sea salad is so cool, can eat heaps. For students, rice ball or small bento is reasonable in price and good in taste. Good place for a quick brunch/lunch in general!

Literally the best sushi in Nelson region. So hard to find friendly and amazing owners! Aki sushi is definitely my favourite and I recommend that everyone should go check it out at least ones! I bet y’all would love it too!! I would recommend you to try seaweed salad inari sushi as a first timer
Yummy sushi and staff very helpful. Have had there platters for staff celebrations they are a great assortment of sushi. If you have favorites they will ensure its covered, highly recommend.
Always great here, my go to Sushi place. The last few times I've had a bit of grissle in my Chicken which hasn't ruined the meal but just don't like it!
The best freshest sushi I have ever tasted. I especially love salmon sushi as a favorite of mine, but they have a beautiful assortment of the other kinds. Try Aki 🍣 sushi as a first timer. Very nice.
Not many places were open, but that was good as it meant wehad sushi for a change. Great attitude from the staff eventhough it was a bank holiday.

Sushi was fine, range was a bit average. Nothing wrong with it but a bit forgettable.
Unique taste sushi. Especially the texture and taste of sushi rice is well above normal. Salmon was very fresh like it just came out from water
