We tryed the mixed meat iskender twice lately, didn't disappoint, nice fresh clean food, pleanty of it to fill you up even in the smaller size meal, beats greasy fried takeaways anyday

I grew up in Nelson and have been coming to Akbabas since I was 19 years old.
Absolutely love their souvlakis and salads, both the chicken and the lamb.
The chicken is done in a really nice marinade.
Great fresh food, good portion sizes with good prices.

I've been going to Akbaba's for about 15 years, the food has always been very good, and consistent, I buy the Ishkenda usually and it's always enough for dinner and lunch the next day.
