Lovely coffee made to the evolving taste of dwellers and visitors to New Plymouth. The Coffee House and Eatery is a real suburban gem with the local clientele and free parking. The owner Michelle is super attentive and has an amazing smile. The best thing in the morning - coffee with a smile.

We love coming to Ruby Cafe for a treat. The owners are so lovely and hospitable, and are so nice to my toddler daughter. Good coffee, lovely sweet treats and their sushi is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. They make my daughter the cutest Fluffy with sprinkles carefully stuck to the side of the cup and marshmallows. Wonder

Amazing sushi, so fresh. Good Japanese dinners, have yet to have coffee & cake as t I am usually too full, but they look good too. The friendliest, down to earth owners. Highly recommend.

Amazing staff, food, the cutest cafe! Staff looked after us so well while we had pancakes and ramen for lunch! :) never get tired of their awesome menu, highly recommend

A quiet, small restaurant. Food was a little slow arriving at start but we went through a variety of Japanese dishes, full of flavour, interesting. Very hospitable and reasonably priced. Happy to recommend and to go again.

Very good food and coffee, with amazing service. Nicely located at Frankleigh Park shops, so no need to go into town.

This is a small cafe with a nice feel about it. Great it also sells sushi too. Every time my family go there we have loved the food... And the vanilla latte was good too.

Friendly Japanese couple run this place. Some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Really nice food here, all the usual cafe food and also Japanese style food. Hands down the best sushi in Taranaki.

The hosts are very friendly and amazing cooks. The lunch and dinners (chili dishes and salids) are really tasty. I no longer buy fish and chips and instead go to Ruby's for a healthier meal.
