I have found some of the cabinet food to be a bit dry, but I have had their wedges off the menu, and they were top-tier!! Probably best wedges I've had at a cafe which is saying a lot. GET IN TO BIG JIMS AND ORDER THE AVO SMASH...! Best thing I've eaten in weeks, right down to the beautiful oil around the edge of your plate and the roasty dukah. 10/10... The new owners know what they are doing. 😄 Thank you!
Food is good, would have enjoyed corn and chickpea fritters without chickpeas, no flavour
Still great a great place to relax and enjoy the food surroundings plus you can have those private conversations with your friends and family. It is a great place for the business get together to fellowship with colleagues.

Had a delicious lunch here today. The Chefs special bbq pork belly burgers with apple slaw and crisps. Soooo good!! Gorgeous presentation of food and lovely friendly staff!

Today my brother and I wanted to meet up for a cuppa and found Big Jim's Cafe the only cafe in our area that was open. It has been a long while since my last visit there. We walked in and were treated with respect courtesy and attention that made us feel like we were the only customers around.
On the whole enjoyed it. Found it very noisy.
