I went to Atelier Shu to get some cute little cakes.

Atelier Shu is such a great place to come for something sweet but also for an incredible coffee. The girls that work here are so sweet. Such a great option for takeaway desserts or for a Saturday treat. My favourite is the the Cloud - so simple but so well done.
10/10 favourite cafe in Central Auckland. My wife and I come here every Saturday. Meticulously carefully made coffee and treats. I’ve never had cake as good as the cloud cake. 12/10 would recommend.
Friendly, talkative, accommodating staff members with impressive, beautifully made, and unbelievably delicious cakes and baked goods. They have special items made for occasions such as easter, and valentine's day. The shop is quite small with limited seats but worth the experience
Aesthetic little patisserie tucked away in Parnell serving desserts that are pleasant to both the taste buds and the eye!
For me the standouts were the black sesame basque cheesecake and the matcha yuzu mousse which were a perfect balance of being sweet but not overwhelming.
The space itself is quite small though with little seating so I wouldn’t recommend coming with more than one person if you are planning to dine in
Quality isn't consistent across all dessert items but great selection of limited time seasonal offerings eg Chinese New year Orange/ Valentine's berry keeps things interesting. Presentation is beautiful and taste (slight hit and miss) is generally very good. Hojicha latte was good. Just a note on seating, great for pairs, impossible for group of 3 due to table arrangement. Just something to bear in mind in choosing dine in/ takeaway.
I have been searching for years to find a patisserie or cafe that makes the perfect strawberry cake the way I've always imagined it in my head - delicate look, light and airy shortcake soaked in syrup / liqueur, layered with fresh strawberries and fresh cream. Atelier Shu, I have eaten so many bad cakes in my life, now I can stop being disappointed. Thank you for the most beautiful Strawberry Shortcake. It is perfect I won't change a thing. I will be back for more.
Excellent desserts at Atelier Shu! My favourite is the Earl Grey Mont Blanc and look forward to visiting again for their seasonal offerings!

The black sesame cheesecake and matcha canele I had were not too sweet, which I highly appreciate, and very good overall.
The rest of the cabinet looked so good it was hard for me to decide on what to have.
Staff was lovely and the hojicha latte was nice. They also serve Kokako coffee which is nice to see. Will have to come back for sure!
A new lovely addition to the area. It's not too fit for a long sitting experience inside but the cakes look lovely. We tried their take on tiramisu and it turned out to be very special.
